Incorrect when they go on sale it will still be 2024 points for October & December

We do not know that yet. They can start sales and decide what UYs will get them.

While I do think 2024 will be limited to Oct and Dec UY at most, nothing to prevent them from not starting points until 2025.

Granted I never really paid much attention to other DVC hotels and their rollouts, I feel like this is a complete joke with how slow all information has been coming out.

Universal Orlando is going to announce their 4th gate before this poly tower goes on sale.
You know, if they hadn't sent out that email to some members saying to call their guides for details (when there were no details to be had), I wouldn't be half as aggravated as I am about this slow rollout!

I feel Island Tower rollout is just a continuation of the bad rollout they did with the original PVB. No resort comes close to the limited time of sales before opening. If they wait until October 1, it will even beat the original PVB record.

I sure hope they don't mess up the timeshare license in all states like they did with the original PVB.

I wonder if that is still the hurdle it was before? I noticed this verbiage on the CFW website, stating that it's "[n]ot yet registered in all jurisdictions". This verbiage doesn't seem to be on the other resorts.

Exactly! This project has been in the works for years. The cash bookings opened in June. The room categories were worked out before a hole was ever dug, and likely the points chart too. And yet the potential DVC owners get left in the dark on sales details?

Just release the information already.

Probably milking the cash bookings for as long as they can.

I’m basing it the speculation of sales beginning October 1. If they begin sales in December I would think October 24 points would still be available. I can’t imagine them selling and telling someone that they have to borrow from 2025?

Well, those with a Feb UY didn’t get 2019 points when it opening in December 2019.

And, BPK opened in June 2022 and Aug to Dec UYs had to all borrow points to stay if they wanted to prior to that 2022 IY starting.

So, nothing would surprise me in terms of what they decide to do.

Now that there are quarterly board meetings, are they likely to revolve the news cycle around those events? Why not wait and prevent having to answer any questions about the point chart or incentives? Or does the question then become what are you hiding?

Does anyone know what states were messed up in the past (I type, sitting here in NYC)?
What I recall from back then was many-most were not approved when sales started. Most were approved within 1-2 weeks after sales started. I believe there was one that required a month. Caifornia was the very last one and it was 2-3 months after sales started.

Some states that I recall were Texas, California, New York, Wisconsin. However, there were many more.

Edit: here is an old thread…
