Is there ever a better deal than 40% bounceback?

Other than the 4/3 deal, has there ever been a cheaper discount than the 40% off bounceback rate for deluxe resorts?
This seems, to me, to be the best discount. But, yet, those with the bounce back are still watching for pin codes and discounts.
Am I missing something? Please let me know because I am ALWAYS ready for better lol

The AP discount for Deluxe is 45% through June 3, 2010. I think the GP for Villas is 45%, for sure the AP is.

Honestly, you really have to price it out-sometimes the 4/3 deal is better than 40% off & then when they offer free dining....for our party of 5 the free dining is great when you stay for a week-but the 40% off with a shorter trip at CL worked out better than the FD...you need to have your dates, party # & resort and then play around with #s....sometimes it's fun!!

It depends on what you're looking for. My family would normally stay at a mod to keep it cheaper. We have crammed into POR. For us, free dining is normally a better deal. But, I got the 40% off pin and booked Poly for next November, and it saves us more than what free dining is by about $100...

Yes, in my experience the room discounts are usually better than free dining for Deluxe, mods depends and the free dining is always better than any room discount on the Values even with just 2 adults!

Just went to Disney 12/5-12/12, 2009 and stayed at the Poly, garden view. The rack rate (value season) for that room was $355/night. I booked through a travel agent (Magical Vacations) and only paid $189/night. That's 47% off!
