Is there an age or height requirement for the pool slide at CSR?

We are hoping to stay at CSR this October and DS will only be 4. The CSR slide looks great and I know my little daredevil would love it, especially with DD8 doing it, but he would be heartbroken if he couldn't. Due to the size of it I was worried there might be an age or height restriction. Does anyone know? If there is a restriction, can younger kids go down with an adult? Thanks!

We just got back last night and I would say that he will do great. Is he a good swimmer? DS is 7 and about 46 to 48" and he had no problems. Your little one could wear floaties and or another floatation and be ok. For the most part, the pool is not deep. It was too cool for me in Jan but not for DS. The lifeguards said it was about 82 degrees. The only time it was deep for DS was when he swam across from the slide to the other side of the pool to go to the hottub. The hot Tub is great by the way!

He should be fine! We were there last Sept and my son was 4yr old and LOVED it!! He did wear his arm floaties too!!

That's great! I'll just have him wear arm floaties. Does anyone know if an adult can go down with a child? Just in case he gets stubborn and won't keep the floaties on!

Nope. This is not allowed on any waterslides at Disney (or anywhere else for that matter) unless it is a slide specifically designed to hold a double inflatable ring. In some cases, you may not be able to wait at the bottom of the slide also, so your child should be a pretty strong swimmer if you want him to go down the slide.
