I've found alot of designs I like on here, but I don't know how to use them. Assume I need special cartridges and transfer paper - are there any "Transfers for Dummies" tutorials on this board? Sorry but I'm craft impaired.

I'm not sure what you mean by cartridges. I'm assuming you mean ink cartridges. If that is correct...you do not need anything special other than be ready to use a lot of ink (colored and black).

As far as tutorials every transfer paper is different depending on if you go with light or dark transfers and they generally come with good instructions. A lot of people on the Boards like to use Amy's dark transfers (me included!) as they are better than most store brands. I have tried HP, Avery generic brands from Walmart and Hobby Lobby and they all either cracked, faded or the colors ran. Amy's are a little bit more expensive but worth every penny if you want to wear your t-shirts more than once!

The only tip that I can give you is to prewash your t-shirts and do not use a fabric softener.
