Is there a total FP+ limit?

I'm an AP holder and tried to book FP+s for my second trip next month today. We didn't book the hotel yet, so I could not book at 60 days out. I have my FPs for 11/30 - 12/8, but when I went to do it today, it said I had "too many" FPs booked. How does that work? Couldn't there be local AP holders who show up every day and want them?

I believe the limit for AP holder is 7 days in a 30 day period. (I should note that I do not have an AP so my info could be incorrect but that is the info I have seen in the past.)

Limit is 7 days unless you have on-site hotel reservation for more than that, then limit is number of days on the reservations.

You can only book 7 days worth of advance FP with an AP unless you have an onsite stay that is longer that 7 days. So if you have a 10 day onsite stay you can book 10 days worth at 60 days but if you have a 10 day off site stay you can only book 7 days at 30 days. Once you use the first day you can book day 8 and so forth. Or once you book an onsite stay you can book for every day of your reservation.

Good reason why you can't book more than 7 without a hotel reservation. Can you imagine locals booking the good ones for every single day, just in case they go?
