This will only be our second trip the first time we stayed at CBR and I love the resort....I had thought about trying a value but not real sure...I am a pretty routine girl so I have a feeling we will end up staying at CBR again...

Currently booked at Poly CL and not sure we will keep it. Have you been hearing the latest economic news?? Things are pretty dismal. Highest unemployment since this mess began - highest foreclosure rate in August as well.

Really have a hard time justifying rack rates for Poly when things are so depressed!

May check out rates at Universal, too and stay there and commute to WDW instead of the other way around!

I called to pay our deposit today for WL in March. I told the CM I would rather have the 40% off and he looked at the dates and said hmmm....just keep checking everything-web, etc.

I seriously hope 40% off is headed our way!

Wasn't last March part of the buy 4 get 3 promotion? I think that is what I had booked, but we canceled and didn't end up going.

Hope we don't do that again this year - but with no discount - maybe.....or maybe we just downgrade to a lesser room.

We go every year during the mid-March time frame. Last year both the book 4 get three and the room % discount were in play during that time frame. We had booked the book 4 get three and then when the % rate came out it was a better deal so we switched to it.

I am really hoping we still get something for that time frame. I'm praying that Disney hasn't decide this is all the deals they are offering for next year. We are booked at GF and the total package price is outrageous.

your post has made me feel a little hopeful! I haven't even booked yet because I'm waiting to see if a code comes out. We'll be offsite if we can't get a good deal.

I hear you! I have a free dining offer booked for now at the Poly but I really hate paying rack rate there, especially for CL. But I am hoping that some type of room discount offer comes out or I get a pin code. DD will be 10 then so she is considered an adult rate so right now the free dining is a decent savings but we usually pay out of pocket for dining when we stay CL.

We have been lucky and stayed at the Poly with a 40% discount our 3 previous trips. I have not forwarded the e-mail ressie confirmation to DH yet because I know he will flip at the cost He has no idea how all these discounts and offers work. He thinks it is great that I got free dining...but he if he only saw the rack rate

Come on Disney...bring on our discount

I have heard there have been both percent off and package deals in March and usually come out after September....so hoping to see something soon!

No, our first trip we went end of sept/early october 2007 right after free dining ended. I had a TA at the time and we were booked rack rate, dining plan. We were total Disney virgins. I knew nothing about the DIS or anything. She found the 40% discount and it saved big bucks.

Our second trip was early December 2008. We booked that because about a month after we got home from first trip we received a Pin code e-mail offer for 40% off. How could we pass it up?

Our third trip Late Oct/early Nov 2009 was due to another Pin code e-mailed to us. Again, how could we not go?

We had a bounceback trip booked that we booked during our last trip which was about 40% off room and dining. We were to leave tomorrow actually. My Mom got got diagnosed with cancer in late June and we were unsure of the future so I canceled all together. Sadly, she passed away just 42 days after diagnosis on 8/8. While a Disney trip would be great therapy for us, we want to get past the holidays first because we know they will be hard.

So anyways, this will be our first visit during this time of the year. We scheduled it between the President day holiday and spring break hoping for low crowds which we are used to with our fall trips. Of course the entire time we had the bounceback booked we got pin code e-mails constantly between DH and my e-mail accounts. Now, nothing! Figures Now they have us addicted... So they cut us off from Pins

I will be booking bounceback again if it is available during our upcoming trip if it is a good one. We hope to go back in October 2011 as well. It was nice for all those months not to have to worry about pin codes and discounts being released. I changed the dates a few times, but at least I still had the bounceback rate. It just takes a $200 deposit. We cancelled in plenty of time to get a full discount.
