Is special DVC price on Premium Annual Pass a yearly thing?

I see on the site that through April 30, 2014 DVC members can purchase a Premium Annual Pass for $484. This appears to be a really good deal and even better than the normal DVC discount. Does anyone know if they offer this type of special annually, or is this the first time?

We are trying to decide whether to use up the days on our 10 day no-expiration date tickets before we buy an annual pass or if we should take advantage of this price before it is gone then use the other tickets down the road somewhere.

I don't remember the normal DVC pricing, but if we bought this, we would probably downgrade to just the annual pass in future years at a renewal rate of just over $400 if I remember correctly.

Any thoughts?

The last one was 10/1/12 to 12/31/12, had to be activated by 12/31/13, $300 off PAP. There's no guarantee there will be another one.
