Is sharing really frowned upon at Signature Restaurants?

GF and I are looking at Artist Point for a meal since they are offering 30% off if you dine at certain times, and while I'm an adventurous eater she isn't.

We were both eyeing the Pork Porterhouse they have on the menu, and figured we could share that, and get a side or two, and then separate desserts.

We've gone to places where we didn't order entrees, but ordered a couple appetizers and desserts and just had a sampling of things.

But this would be only 1 real meal between the both of us.

Any thoughts? Concerns?

nope, not an issue. enjoy :)

No concerns at all. It's your money and food and Disney allows you to spend it as you see fit. We've done Artist Point and just about every other signature and I always share with my daughter and it is never an issue.

Agree with the others. My wife and I have been sharing meals for years, including at all the Signatures (AP is one of our go to places, in fact). Actually, a quality restaurant should provide you with either a second plate if you opt to split an entree, or if they're really on top of their game, they'll split the meal back in the kitchen before bringing it out. The latter has been our experience for Signatures at Disney, as well as a couple of other places.

Nope. We do this all the time because I physically cannot eat much. So I'll order a small side salad and then snag some protein from whatever DH orders. Never been an issue.

I agree that it shouldn't be a problem. I often share at meals at WDW (both Signature and non-Signature meals). Sometimes they'll just bring out a second plate, but sometimes they'll split the entree in the kitchen. It varies between restaurants and chefs, but we've never had any problems sharing at a Signature.

Another vote in the not an issue column. We've done it frequently.
