Is mid-March crazy when Easter is in April?

Hi! We will have a school break mid-March in 2007, when Easter will be in April. I KNOW it will be crowded, but will it be totally swamped? I'm just wondering!

Yes, most of March is Spring Break time even when Easter is in April.

Swamped is a matter of perception ...it won't be as bad as Christmas or July 4, but it will be pretty crowded!

I'm curious for the answer to this one as well, since we are headed there this March, 2006 when Easter is at the end of April in 2006.

Us too, our high school band is going during spring break 06, March 13-17. Hubby and I are going too and bringing our 12 yr old DS. Is it as bad as summer?

It is crowded but nowhere near as bad as Easter or the weeks around it..We go down most Marches, and this year we went right before Palm Sunday, it was packed!! Crowds will also depend on what time of March you go, early March will be less crowded and crowds will increase during the month as the kids hit spring breaks for college and school...I love March down there, even though it is a bit more crowded, things are open later and it is a lot of fun after the dreary winter months....
