Laura (Italy) - I can feel your pain in the post about your class... My heart goes out for you as you try to get your students to understand the necessity of following directions to get that education. We teachers have many uphill battle days, don't we?

Laura (WDW) - enjoy your last day. I so wished I could hop a plane and join you this weekend. It seemed like the best thing to be doing! I am glad you have had a good time!!

Good morning Jamborinis & Kidanites!

I am packing up and moving out of my studio at SSR this morning. Will be in the parks until late this afternoon, then DME to the airport for my flight home.

Crowds (both at the resorts and the parks) picked up yesterday -- could definitely tell it was the weekend!!

DHS is all decked out for the Holidays. Last night was the CM preview of Osborne Lights (no, they wouldn't let me attend!! ) The Lights go on November 10th.

I didn't think I took many pictures, yet there are 365 images (so far! ) on my camera!

Wishing all my friends a wonderful weekend. I should get home around midnight -- then clocks fall back an hour tonight, which might help me recover!

we have been away most of the day....

last night we went to the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore to see La Cage with George Hamilton.... It was fun and we ate at the great bar, called Alewife.

Today we went to Annapolis, to watch the Navy Football game.

Now we are home waiting for the big game....

We're just hanging in there, Thursday I made my ADRs for the Kidani portion of our trip next May, but Member Services can no longer link reservations if you change resorts. So tomorrow I can make the remaining ADRs for the BLT portion of the trip.

I got Sanaa for the night that we arrive, Raglan Road for the second night, and Jiko for our third night! We also hope to do the culinary tour in the afternoon before our night a Jiko. How long does the tour last?

Here in Italy we have RAIN RAIN RAIN ; it's an endless storm ... Some people near Genova lost their house due to inclement weather ...
We all are concerned : 3 more days of heavy rain in the forecast !!!

The surgery went well, and she is ok. She is still in a lot of pain. I sent her prayers and pixiedust from all her AKL family!

I have her address and was going to send her a card, if you guys want to include a message to her, just PM the message to me and I will print them all out and mail them to her from us....

That sounds amazing! Does the four days of travel include stopping to site see, or does it take that long to get there?

Unfortunatley, no sightseeing during those days. It takes that long with layovers and time changes. We are flying boston to Amsterdam, then Amsterdam to Tanzania. If I remember right, the flight times alone are in the 15-20 hour range.

Ok, I realize that I am speaking to a biased audience here, but AKL still remains on my radar for our July 2012 trip!!! First, my DH would LOVE to have a savannah view here...at one point we were booked club level here, but now we are at WL. I LOVE the location of WL, and everyone complains about the busses at AKL. My thing is...we've stayed at all of the ALL STARS and they are in the same area and we never had an issue with the transportation or travel times, so why would we at AKL. Do the busses come with the same frequency? Are they really packed to the gills with Kidani folk by the time it gets to Jambo?? We are doing 10 nights with our girls, who will be 8 and 5 for that trip...they do like animals!!! If we did the whole 10 nights, I will probably look to book that sunrise safari (if we end up booking CL). Please help!!! We have stayed at neither AKL or WL (never actually stayed at deluxe at all), so please give me all the things to love about AKL!!! Oh...and at one point there was a complaint about the amount of bees????? What's the 411 on that???

We love AKL. Never have had a problem with the buses, even with going over Christmas every year. And I have never personally had an issue with bees there.

Remember, there are people who will complain about everything! There are also people who have had legitimate complaints about a resort who will post. So, you have to decide if their complaints are worth worrying about.

I will say, I also love WL so you have a tough choice on your hands!
