If I wanted to stay on "lobby level", that is the 3rd floor correct?

Good morning Jamborinis and Kidanites from SSR! :goodvibes

Great day yesterday - I actually made it to 3 parks (AK, MK and Epcot!). After AK, stopped by AKL - beautiful as ever :lovestruc - and got my Zebra Domes! :woohoo:

Try as I might, I couldn't make it through all 5!!! :rotfl: Ended up "leaving" 1+ a partial (I know - shame on me!!)

Weather has been amazing -- now it's going to get windy and, according to wftv's weather, "colder" -- 70s!! (I'll take that ANY DAY!!) :thumbsup2

DHS and Epcot today!! :woohoo:

Wishing you all a happy weekend! :goodvibes

Have a great day...... and enjoy that cooler weather.... :rotfl:

I would not do the online checkin if I was staying CL. Part of the experience is going up to the CL desk to check in.

(unless there is no one there and some dumb CM decides he can take care of you and messes everything up... )

But, I agree... :thumbsup2

Ciao, to you too, my friend!!! Lots of pixie dust winging its way toward your dear father. Hope he is feeling better so you do too. How is that class going?????

Prayers for your father! Mine just came home last Friday after two months in ICU and two rehab hospitals, so prayers do work!

 for you too! I know how hard your father's hospitalization and rehab has been on you too.

Thanks for all the ZDs, Brandi!! :goodvibes

Laura - Sounds like you are having an amazing time! Have you run into Catherine?

Good morning, Jamborinis and Kidanites! :sunny:

Bob had a wonderful check-up with our PCP on Wednesday. He has gained weight and strength and his blood work all came back in good shape. He surprised us all by getting himself up and down from the exam table with ease!! :yay:

The follow-up with the eye doctor was not as good, unfortunately. The scar on his cornea (from an abrasion gotten sometime during his hospitalizations) is healed as much as it can and the vision in that eye is only 20/70. He has a cataract on that eye so we have opted for cataract surgery within the next two months in the hopes that it will increase his visual acuity a bit. The only other option would be for a corneal transplant and that is just not something that appeals to us at all right now. No pixie dust needed here as it is much more required other places! To quote another very good Disney friend: "It is all good!"

This is our first visit to Disney World, we rented points to stay in a DVC- Concierge, 1 bedroom suite for 1 week. We are so excited. I heard about online check-in and I was wondering if there is any advantage for us to check in online or just go straight to the concierge when we get there. Our flight arrives on a Saturday at 2:30 pm.

Congratulations!!! There is supposed to be a concierge CM waiting for you at the front door if you're using DME, I completely forgot about that and they had all our paperwork and I messed things up by bypassing him.

So cool about the zebras! I originally read this that there were two zebra domes waiting to be eaten. I have no idea how I messed that up in my mind!

PD and prayers being sent :) I hope all sorts itself out soon. :)

Now you have an extra one to eat today right? I have Orlando in my phone as one of my favorite locations and did indeed see that there is beautiful weather down there the whole week!

Wonderful news that his strenth is returning! Were you able to schedule the surgery?

Wonderful news that his strenth is returning! Were you able to schedule the surgery?

He has to have a full evaluation in two weeks and then the surgery will be scheduled. Hoping that this will happen before Christmas!

You're going to love it! Ask away, we'll help. Is this your first trip, or have you always stayed off-site?

It's going to be our first trip to WDW for either of (DH and I) since we were kids, and the first time ever staying at a resort. :) Well, we did stop at Epcot a few summers ago, but just for the day, and not for the fireworks. So it'll be pretty much a completely new experience. We're traveling down with friends, who know more about Disney and suggested the Mickey Christmas Party.

And those Zebra things that people keep mentioning. They look... tasty. :teeth:
