Wendy, we will hold you in our prayers and good thoughts. My mom had a similar operation several years back (when she was 79 or 80!) and it made a world of difference for her. She healed quickly and has not had one problem since! Stay positive and know that your many Dis friends are here for you.

Prayers for the op to go well and a quick recovery!

I'm so glad you're getting it taken care of. It's normal to be nervous. Just be patient with yourself and let the hubby do everything around the house

I'm glad I joined!! You guys are a lot of fun!!! There are some heated threads lately and they scare me!!!!

We are very excited about our stay at the AKL!! We love it and just go hang there sometimes when we are at the parks. Two Christmases ago we were there and we got to make animal ornaments in the lobby. I still have them hanging in my kitchen!!

Wendy - Best of luck to you and the surgery. I'm sure you'll do fine...I know another gal who had something similar (who is following my PTR) back in April and she had a very speedy recovery. Modern medicine is pretty good these days and you should have a speedy recovery as well.
