My son will be 9 my daughter 11 both are over 54" and I wondered if Disney Quest would be worth the money?

thanks for any input!:wave2:

It depends on how much they like video games and virtual reality things. There are a lot of attractions that kids find fun, including a build your own roller coaster, whitewater rafting, and a pirate ship ride, all virtual reality. Its a big place, and you should plan to go early, since it fills up in the afternoon and evening, so its not as much fun.

We took my sone who was 5 to DQ last Dec when we were there..got there at about noon.....He was only about 42 inches so couldn't do a few things, but what we could do was great. IMHO, the Virtual reality Pirates of the Caribbean is worth seeing and we all enjoyed it very much.....although we were able to do it several times because there were no lines. My son also enjoyed several other things and we felt it was worth the money.

Took my daughter twice. Once when she was 8 again when she was 13 and she had a great time on both occasions. There is so much for them to do. If they are into video games and virtual reality they will love it.

We went at Christmas time and the lines were so good even at this busy time of year she managed to do the things she liked more than once.

Well worth the money.

We took the boys, 4 & 9, last July and they loved it. It will be a nice break from the heat of the parks. It was 95 and humid all week, a few hour of A/C was refreshing. Admission is free with the UPHs.

:D Thanks for the info. We will be going to DQ for the first time with our dks, 7 & 10 , and are really looking forward to it especially after reading info here!

I have to say we were pleasantly surprised with Disney Quest. We had no plans to go, but on a rainy day on our last trip we did......what fun!!
I think that you'll all have a good time there!

We were just there this past Monday. It was great! My brother is 16 and had the best time. I had to drag him out of there :) I agree that Pirates of the Caribbean is a great "game"!

Hello - Cheesecake Factory on the top level - does it get any better then that?!?!?

FYI - don't have a dessert up there then do the Alladdin ride...DH can't take any more Virtual Reality after that incident!

My boys loved it and even though my brother questioned it for this coming trip, I said we should have a DisneyQuest day. I feel it's worth it!!!!!

Just curious, how much does it cost? Do you have to pay an admission and then pay for each 'game' or are they included?

I am not sure of the entrance fee as it has always been included in the world ticket we purchase and you can use it like a hopper as many times as you want. I have a feeling it may be about $25.00-$30.00, but that covers all the games with the exception of any videos or dvd's or artwork you may want to purchase.

Next best thing to a Princess Breakfast if you have boys or girls that like to play games!

We bought the AP's for DQ since we use PH's. They'd rather do that than any of the parks. They went several times and on our last day we had an evening flight, so they spent their last hours there. ( I went to MGM and saw B&B!)

The Pizza is very good there too! They have an Internet Cafe, so you can catch up on the Dis if you like and enjoy some dessert while you surf the net.

If you buy an individual ticket it was about $31 per adult, BUT we got our tickets from Ticketmania. Saved $10 each.

I think for kids that age, it is worth any amount. But that is if you can comfortably enjoy all the stuff at Disney Quest.

So I say GO! But go early! Get there when it first opens and stay till it gets too crowded for you. Back when it was less popular, i was known to stay in their from 9am-2am. The hours are different now and its a whole lot more crowded. My last visit we got there are opening and left at noon, got about half the VR stuff done and a whole bunch of air hockey and pop a shot basketball. :bounce:

My daughter loves Disney Quest, I like it, but my wife has some motion sickness problems. She did it once but no more, calls it Dizzy Quest.
