Is anything other than rides open during EMH?

Hi

I will be going on the 27th December 2004 -
are there any shops and restaurants open in any of the parks during Early Magic Hour or just the specified attractions?

Just wondered as Husband will be going on a few rides that I dont want to do!

I wanted somewhere to go to wait with the boys.

also I had heard it opens 1/2 earlier than usual opening time normally so with EMH does it open 1/2 hour earlier too making it 1 1/2 hours earlier than said opening time?

EMH opens the park 1 hour ahead of time. We always try to do the rides we like, so I haven't noticed if the shops and dining are open. When my husband heads off to Space Mt, my son and I head to Buzz Lightyear. We just split up a bit and plan to meet nearby in 20 minutes. Take a ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and see if you can find your husband in Space Mt. There should be lots the boys can or will want to do.

I Think the MK will be OK - the train ride is a good idea while he is on space mountain and there is lots for all of us -

it was mainly the studios I was thinking of.

We just did EMH at Studios this weekend! Only things open are: TOT, RNRC, STours and Muppet Movie, also some shops and ABC Commissary. Most of the shows don't start until 9:45-10:30!! We split up, I went with DS to Muppets while DH and DD went to big rides. After hiking over to Muppets they told us it was down and so was Star Tours! There were a lot of mad people, especially the ones with youngsters as there was nothing else to do. A waste of time! Fortunately as we were walking back to the TOT area a nice CM told me that Muppets would be opening up momentarily so we hiked back over! I think EMH is only worth it for doing TOT and RNRC.
