Is 1 bdrm room big enough for a king inflatable matress?

Has anyone tried putting a king size inflatable mattress on the floor of the 1 bedroom next to the king size bed? Last time we stayed in a 1 bedroom we put the kids, then ages 3 and 4, on the pull out couch in the living room and half way through the night they ended up in our bed. So I figure if we just put them on the floor on an inflatable mattress we wouldn't have them in our bed. I am asking about a king size since we currently own one we won't have to go buy another size. Hopefully this won't be an issue for too many more years. We are hoping to be able to reserve a 2 bedroom in the future and put the kids over there!

Unfortunately I think that you would have trouble even fitting a twin size by the bed. You could put a twin on each side, or one at then end. Maybe your kids are uncomfortable because they are close to the outside door. How about putting them in the bedroom (I know it is hard to give up) and you take th pull out (ouch my back is hurting already? Do you think when you get a 2br they will sleep in the other room?

FreeTime... When I said in my post that I hope to reserve a 2 bdrm in the future, I ment way in the future like 4 years! Hopefully by then they will be old enough stay in the room by themselves. Thanks for the info. I couldn't recall exactly how big the room was.

You'd never be able to fit a Kingsize inflatable bed in your room. Even a twin sized bed would be tight.

We just got back from BWV and to give you a perspective I had the ironing board set up on the side of the bed (that's where the closest plug was) and that there was just enough room for the board and me to stand on one side of it- so maybe 2 1/2 -3 feet.
The king definitely takes up most of the room.

You didn't mention the resort, but if you are talking about the master bedroom at the BWV, I'd say definitely not. (maybe there is more floor space in the purportedly HUGE OKW master bedrooms? )

IMHO, even a twin sized would be a tight fit, although I think it could be done.

Although the master bedrooms at OKW are much larger than at VWL or BWV it still would not accomodate a king size mattress. A twin would fit at OKW though, no problem.

Or you could use the lock that DVC provides and risk tripping on them in the morning. LOL.

Sorry, Terry I guess that I should have read into that But, in my extended family even the older kids have trouble sleeping so far away, so I hope that you don't have that problem. I hope that you have a great trip. You may be able to fit a full size one if you move the wooden chest somewhere else and put the matress up against that wall. Good luck!

in okw there's plenty of room for 2 aeros! But not a king!

Our son sleeps on the aero in the mbr so that we can stay up and sit on the porch or watch tv without disturbing him on the couch.
