My friend and I were using Siri in the car the other day and realized we both had Australian male. I asked another friend out of curiosity and she has British male. It's kind of funny hearing how it pronounces some things, or how some things are called something else like "car park" for "parking lot". So just for fun, what is your Siri voice?

Mine is an American (I guess - English language, but not a British accent) female.

ETA - I just Googled it. Apparently, she's called "Samantha" but I have options to change her to several others:
529960

Who knew?

So I haven’t done it for a while, so it could have improved in recent years, but I once switched to Australian male for a few days for fun but found that my phone was also LISTENING with an accent too. I’d ask questions and it would say it couldn’t understand me. Same exact phrase, switched to regular Siri, and it would work first try. As entertaining as listening to the Aussie guy was, it was a waste since I couldn’t get him to understand me!

That's funny, my friend was telling me Australian Siri couldn't understand the name of her hospital when she told Siri to call it.

Mine was accidentally set to "Passive Aggressive" for awhile, and I kept getting "Fine. Whatever" and "Why don't you look that up yourself?". Now somehow it's set to "Granpa Si" and I'm constantly hearing about dog races and his ongoing IBS symptoms. My phone is a circus.

I’ve got the Australian female (which was the default for me). Fun fact: the woman who provided the voice is actually a beautiful singer!
That's interesting! I didn't think about voice actors for Siri. I wonder who does the other versions?

I don't use Siri, but do use google maps. Never bothered to change it, just tried to switch to Irish male and it is hung up 'downloading'. I would prefer Scottish!
