Organizing three rooms (villas) with different billings setup

I’ve booked three separate villas for a family trip later this year. One will be just my husband and me. One will be my nephew, his wife, and two young daughters. The third will be his adult stepson and his girlfriend.

I’m paying for all the rooms. I want to allow my nephew and wife to charge things to his room on his credit card, and possibly allow his stepson to charge to their room, but either to my nephew’s card or to a separate gift card. Also, because my nephew and his girlfriend have started new jobs, they might not have as many days off, so I want to allow my nephew to reduce the number of days for the stepson’s room. (That was my main reason for getting them a separate room instead of the 2BR villa).

I also want to make sure I can see any changes, so that I can fix problems that may arise.

As far as I know, none of them have Disney.com accounts yet.

What do I need to do for all this? Do I start by having my nephew and his wife set up their own accounts?

I was looking for a sticky thread on handling this aspect of reservations but couldn’t find one. I apologized if there is one and I just didn’t look hard enough.

Many thanks.

On charging:

Nope. Don’t fall for it. Save yourself a dozen headaches and some awkward family disputes and don’t allow room charging. Everyone is an adult here covering their own in park costs so charging to the room is unnecessary. It’s just as easy to use a debit or credit card or gift card, and if someone wants to cover something specific for someone this makes it crystal clear. And thinking you’d “fix problems” that might arise on their charge accounts? Lol. Please. I manage 2 rooms for 4 adults and unless someone’s charging something obscene amongst the meals, coffee, merch, food booths, snacks & water bottles I haven’t a snowballs chance in FL of noticing it.

You can't have it all. Either you get all the charges or if you setup charging for each of the (2) other rooms to other members of the travel party then you can't see any of their charges while at WDW.

For room charges while at WDW they don't need to be tied to the payment method used to pay for the room. You are even able to have different payment methods tied to each person in a room. You just need to set-up this at the Front desk.
