Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian opening on March 19th

I've seen that the Garden View will be reopening early 2026, has anyone seen a date? We will be visiting late Feb/early March and would love to go, we used to love to have tea there years ago. I hope it is not mobbed with reservations when it finally does come open. Thanks!

I haven’t seen a date yet and I do expect it to be mobbed.

Keep an eye on the Grand Floridian thread in resorts. @mrsap keeps us abreast of all things at the resort.

Reservations open on February 19th for bookings beginning March 19th.

I don’t care for most of the menu. I would only eat the scone and a couple of the sweets. So I am going to wait and see if they change up the menu a little before trying to make a reservation. We used to go before it closed, but there were options that did not include the savory items, which I tend to dislike.

Looking forward to everyone’s thoughts and reviews though . . .

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's not liking the looks of this menu. I'll reserve judgment until I see reviews, but several of the items just don't appeal to me and I'm not a picky eater. Just for the price I want to be able to like every item or I'm not going to get my money's worth. We're going in September so hopefully things will be smoothed out by then and I can decide if it's worth it.
