IoA on HHN

my BFF and I are coming oct21-23. We aren't sure what time we will arrive on October 21. We are doing HHN on October 22. Anyone have any experience what the crowds might be like on a Friday (or Saturday) close to Halloween in IoA. My first thought was everyone will be at HHN so we don't need express passes for that day. But it could still be crowded from all the people that are there and clueless that HHN is even happening or people with little kids? In the end we hope to be there 3-4 hours Friday, all day Saturday, and then 4-5 hours Sunday, and I'm not sure besides Saturday if we need express passes and if we don't then there's no reason for us to spring for the more expensive hotel. We can go with CB or SF and just purchase the express passes separately for that Saturday. Also how crowded will the parks be on a Sunday morning after they've just closed on Saturday at 2am?

If you are at ioa Saturday once the studios close, you will see crowds at
Ioa

Saturday's are always crowded and not because of Hhn

Those without Hhn tix will move over to ioa

Sunday's tend to be fine in the morning after a night for Hhn

Crowds will start in the afternoon

Some do the parks early after a night if Hhn as less show up for EE
