We're getting a new countertop and the choice is between a Sharp with regular technology or a GE profile with inverter technology. the sales guy can't adequately explain 'inverter' to me and what the benefits or possibly pitfalls might be. Anyone know anything? I'm leaning toward the GE but we use our microwave for pretty traditional things-we don't cook whole meals in it -just thaw, cook, heat. Feedback from the smartest group of people on the planet is requested!!!
