Hi, I'm Janine and I'm a Disney-aholic. My first trip to Disney World was back in either '88 or '92 (don't remember if it was after I got out of HS or college...) with my Grandmother. It was a 2 day trip with a local tour company and left me wishing for more. Last trip was last September with a friend of mine. Going again this September; still working on the plannin'.

I'm into Science Fiction/Fantasy movies and books. I go to various Sci-Fi conventions a year; in fact, will be leaving one in Atlanta to go to DW! I don't have any kids, unless you count cats! I have 10(!) cats, ages ranging from 3 months to about 16yrs. They are my "kids".

Seriously, my name is Theresa and I am from Jacksonville Florida. My husband and I are both 37. I have daughters 18 and just under 17 from a previous marriage, and together we have a son 4 1/2 and a daughtger 16 that we adopted at the age of 12. I am not sure where I found Disboards, but I sure glad I did!!! I have been a member since I think 2005 or so, but have only recently started actually posting instead of reading only.

I like to read and post on Disney for families, Disney budget board, Disney resorts, and Camping at Walt Disney World. And any other thread that cathes my eye

I have been to WDW more times than I can count. As a child I went numerous times with my parents and other relatives, then once I reached middle school I went there on school trips as well as church youth group trips. I guess I am lucky in the fact that I still have 4 wonderful friends that I have known since at middle school, 2 since birth, that are also huge Disney fans. We go together with just us 5 ladies, with our whole familes, with the ladies and the kids, etc. Unfortunately our husbands are not as addicted as we are (my hubby HATES to go), so we just leave them home<G>. I recently returned from a 9 day stay at FW in July and will be returning to WL Sept 7-9 with just my daughter turning 17, and one of my BFF from the above mentioned group and her 17 year old daughter. We are premium annual passholders and try to average 6-12 times a year at least I can't even count how many times my son has gone, and he's not even 5 yet.

We are also avid pin traders, we LOVE it!!!!

Hi. I'm allie, Have been DISing for about 1 1/2 mths only...I know a slow start! But now that I'm here I love it!!! Dh clued me into this and now he says I am an adict lol!

I usually frequent the dis for families board but also check in on the planning board and really any of the posts that catch my interest! I haven't said much on here but I am busily planning for our first ever disney trip!

We're headed to ASMo in 18 days!!! and I can't wait. I am a huge disney fan, have been probably since birth, however have never been so lucky to visit dl or wdw.

So my lucky dd's 6 and 3 get to visit WDW while they are young and hopefully it will begin a life long obsession (who am I kidding the obsession was handed down at birth too lol) We're travelling from Calgary, AB, Canada for the girls first ever plane ride and our first really cool family trip!

This board has been fantastic in helping me plan our trip out to where we should eat to what is the best to do! I love it and have recommended it to many friends starting to plan their dis trips!!!

My sister found the dis board when prepping for her trip to wdw and then when I started planning ours she sent me over. I have made a few trip to WDW but mostly to Disneyland. My name is Nancy and I am 35 Dh is also 35 he is only 5 days older than me.

We have a DD who is 6 and a DS who is 3.

You can usually find me on the Scrapbooking, and the Swaps boards. I love reading Trip Reports, and I like to read the sewing thread called Kids Disney Boutique/Customs Clothes. It is a great thread if you are a sewer or you want to learn to sew, and there are lots of photos of some really creative clothes there.

I've been dissing for a while now not sure when but it does say over there under my name. I am not sure how I found the board, I just remembered coming here before we took our cruise in the summer of 2002 and then I read the Cruiseline threads mostly. Sometimes, I visit the resorts boards or Theme Parks attractions/strategies board.

How long have you been DISing? How did you find the DIS?

Well, I guess it says I joined in January 2004, but I mostly lurked then. We had planned a trip to Disney, but changed our minds so then I didn't visit for a while. We then planned our real first trip for March 2007 and probably a year before that I started hanging out a lot more and then as we got closer, actually posting.

What boards do you visit and post on most frequently?

This board, Budget board, theme park strategies, and community board.

How many trips have you made to WDW?

Just one.

Any trips coming up?

Yes! We're going back in January.

I have been married for 8 years to my husband who is in the Navy. We have 3 boys ages 7, 5, and 3. I am currently taking classes online and working towards my degree. We were homeschooling our oldest, but both he and our 5 year old will be attending public school this fall. I'm looking forward to the break and spending some one-on-one time with my youngest. I love to read and travel.

How long have you been DISing? How did you find the DIS?
I have been on the DisBoards offcially for 4 years but I was a lurker for a couple years before I joined. I found the DisBoards when I was googling for Disney info one day and I have been coming here ever since for all the great info and nice people.

What boards do you visit and post on most frequently?

I can usually be found on the customs thread, and disney dining especially the cake and food porn threads. All the cakes are so gorgeous. I also visit the theme park strategies board .

How many trips have you made to WDW?
We have been visiting WDW every year since my DS 23 was a year old.

Any trips coming up?

We will be visiting WDW during free dining in September this year with a pit stop at Nick Hotel beforehand (my girls love the pools).

Hi, my name is Julie.

I've been DISsing with this name for almost 2 years. however, I had another name and forgot my lpassword but I DISsed under that name for about 1 1/2 years,so about 3 1/2 years.

I found the DIS while doing an internet search for Disney planning.

My daughter and I have started going to WDW 2x a year.DH usually comes with us on 1 of the trips.

DH and I have been married 25 1/2 years. He's a sugar cane farmer. I'm a SAHM mom and do volunteer work in both my DD's school and in the community.

We have 3 children:
Edward,DS, 32 and a lawyer (from my first marriage but adopted by DH 21 years ago when DS's dad died)
DS, Philip,23, in college and studying drafting.
DD,Marie,13, about to start junior high.We adopted Rie and she's been with us since she was 1 week old.

I've been to WDW about 20 times. DD and I went at the end of May and are going back during Thanksgiving.

DH gave me 350 pts at BWV last Christmas, so this is where we now stay. However, we've stayed at most every other WDW property over the years.

I have enjoyed reading about all of you! DH and I are in our early/mid 40's with DS who is only 2. We are enjoying family-hood later in life I guess! Before that, we traveled to WDW all the time, and well, I guess some things never change, because we are planning to have DS's 6th trip in Sept!!! Well, it doesn't hurt that we own DVC so we will be going to use our points no matter what!

I enjoy the Budget Boards, Family Boards, Resort, Restaurant, and the various DVC boards.

I don't know how long I have been disboarding, I guess my sign-on says member since ____?

I have enjoyed many tips from these boards and hope to continue so for a long time!

I have been on the boards since 1999. After not logging in for a while I had to reregister in 2001.

I mainly just lurk around the boards getting fun ideas, tips, and hearing about Disney news. You can tell by my number of posts that I am not a big talker.

I am usually on the Theme Park board. Every now and then I will stop by the Scrapbook area and the family board. Although, right now I am obsessed at looking at the boutique kids clothes thread and wishing I could sew.

I took my first trip to WDW at the age of 17, with a church youth group. I grew up believing you had to be a millionaire to visit WDW so once I realized that a normal person could go I was hooked. Since then I think I have gone about 12-15 times. I'd have to count them up LOL. Dh and I also did the Disney Cruise twice, LOVED that. I worked for The Disney Store for 6 years and during that time is when we made most of our trips. Having that discount was wonderful! Now that we have kids we visit about once every two years. Some times less but never more, I think I'd go into withdrawal!

We haven't stayed in a lot of different places. I think some of these aren't even called this any more. We usually stay in the All Star's so that we can stay longer.

HI EVERYONE!
This is my first post. I have been reading the boards since May when we started planning our trip. We leave in 12 days! We can not wait. It will be me 37, DH 48 and DS7. I went one time when I was 14 but neither of them have ever been before.
DH and DS are both very excited Infact we just got home from the Disney store just to do a little shopping and to get us in the "Disney" frame of mind!

Hi everyone. I joined a couple of weeks ago. A friend told me about these boards. I have never been to Disneyworld but I have been to Euro Disney around 7 years ago. We are Australian so are making a big trip over next April-I am insanely excited LOL.

My name is Elisa and I'm 31 years old. I live about 40 minutes from the Mouse. I am a full time student nurse, and a single mom of 2 little girls, ages 4 and 5.
We did our first cruise last August and go to Disney at least 6 times a year. As the girls get older, I'm sure we will go more.
In my spare time, I sew custom clothes, mostly Disney related stuff, and study.
I love the DIS, it's been a great place to get and share information, and it's fun to share stories, bad and good ones.
I love meeting new people, and it's nice to be able to chat with you all.

My name is Suzanne and I am 35. My DH is 38 and our one and only DD Emily , is four. We have only been to WDW one time as a family and that was last December. It was a wonderful trip, as you can well imagine!! My DH and I did go to Disney World in 1995 with friends and that is when it hit me, the magic that is. I was hooked and have been ever since.

I have only been a DISer for about five months now and a fellow junkie hooked me up. I have never been so grateful to anyone before. The DIS helps to tide me over as I am sure it will be awhile before we get back to the mouse. Oh, I live in Ontario Canada!! I am on the DIS almost every day although a certain wizard has taken some of my time this past few weeks. Gotta love Harry!!

I like to check out the Family board and the Theme Parks one, as well as the Canadian site. Great tips for getting discounts etc.. I love all things Disney, but especially love to discover things my DD will enjoy, like BBB or dinner with Cinderella.

I have a dream and that is to someday renew our wedding vows at WDW. I would have loved to have been married here, but since that did not happen I will be happy to settle for the renewal!!

This is a great place to visit and I want to thank you all for the joy you bring me everyday. The DIS is the best!!

I am Teresa, and I am 38 years old, my husband, Brian is 47. His sister, my friend Denise, introduced us when I was 17. It did NOT go over well with either family! Something about the age difference I guess! Well, we dated for two years and will be married for 19 in about a week. We have three beatiful children. I am a stay at home mom, but do occasional secret shopping. Don't do it, you don't make any money! And, I don't like the competition for jobs!!

We have one cat, Foster, and some fish. We had a dog (American Brittany) up until about a month ago, but we gave her to a family that had recently lost a dog, and really wanted another. They are childless, so they are able to give her WAY more attention than we could. It was a VERY good thing for everyone. (That dog drove me nuts!)

I like to read and sew when I'm not on the internet, which, if you ask my husband, isn't often!

My sister, hkite, is also a member of this board. We have a few friends that we actually know in REAL LIFE on here too! One I discovered quite by accident, after we had PMed each other a few times, we realized she was one of my husband's college friends! (I like her too. Hi Vicki! )

I have been reading the boards for close to 4 months, after finding them when the DW and I decided to get our family to see the Mouse.

I tend to lurk on the Strategy and dining boards, but frequent the Family boards most often. This is because we have 4 children ( DD 7, DD 6, DD 5, and DS 7 months) and the posts on the family board offer great advice.

We are planning a trip in 2 years, as the DS will be old enough to enjoy some of the park more.

I've been Dising for a long time. I read more than I post obviously, but it's so much fun to do. I remember how I found the Dis. I was planning our first Disney trip as a family for May 2003 and I needed hotel info so I went to Google and typed in "disney orlando" and the first link that popped up was Disboards. I have been hooked ever since.

What boards do you visit and post on most frequently?

Other than the Dis? I belong to a Diabetes Support, Carribean Travel board, Cruise board and a parenting board. I post on all frequently.

How many trips have you made to WDW?

This coming May will be our 6th trip!

Any trips coming up?

Yep, this May with a new addition to our family! Doing Disney with a 6 month old. I'll do a trip report for this trip for sure.

I'm Nicole. I'm married, and have 2 children, a DD (15) and a DS (8).

I've been Dising since around 2001. I found the boards while I was searching the internet for anything to feed my Disney obsession! (boy did I find it!!)

We've been to the World 45 times in the last 14 years!! Our next trip is planned for October to celebrate our DD's 16th birthday! In all our trips this will be the first time we've ever done any sort of private parties and stuff like that, so I'm REALLY excited to see that side of my favorite place!

I tend to stay around the trip planning boards most, but if I'm feeling brave I'll venture down to the Community Board from time to time.

We home school, so especially this time of year I tend to frequent the Family Board more than most.
