Hi All,
I am going to try to keep this short and sweet, I tend to ramble
I had been lurking about 2 months before I registered.
I found the dis by searching the net for wdw info.

I have gone to WDW many times as a child starting in 1974. Then about 6 times as an adult.

We are going in October and plan to go land/sea Disney cruise in 2 years.

The Fam would be me, dh, ds4, and ds2. This will be the 1st Disney trip for the boys and I can not contain the joy I am feeling about this whole trip We are actually going to Orlando for my sis inlaw's wedding. We are staying offsight (mil's timeshare). This is what we have planned, a 1/2 day at Typhoon Lagoon then dinner ADR at 'Ohana. If the boys aren't too pooped maybe watch fireworks from beach. One day is taken up with the wedding but we will have fun anyway we have a beach day at Clearwater Beach. A day at SeaWorld, ADR for Chef Mickey's breakfast Then I figure we will hit Downtown Disney for shopping and such and rent a pontoon boat at the marina. Then next is our Magic Kingdom day(save the best for last) The dis has helped soooo much in the planning of this trip. I am very good at "doing MK" but it is a whole new ball game with kiddies and I just cant wait. When back from this trip I will be researching our next trip which will include all 4 parks and the cruise. ok I am rambling...

How long have you been DISing? How did you find the DIS? I've been DSing for about 6 months, I found it by doing a search for Disney Chat Boards on Google

What boards do you visit and post on most frequently? Do you mean what areas on the DS do I visit? I go to the Budget Board, this one and the Disneyland/So Cal areas most often, otherwise, I visit My Space and a few private chat boards

How many trips have you made to WDW? NONE! LOL We go to DL and we want to do the World (my DBF was there as a child but not for years now) but it's a major trip from CA to FL

Any trips coming up? To DL yes, but not to the World

Family info? whatever you feel comfortable sharing.

I'm 36 and a Mom of 3, my oldest is 19 and she's on her own, my other two are 11 and 7, all girls. I live in Northern California and work full time in the music industry. I live with my DBF and we are getting ready to celebrate our 5 years together. We have 2 cats, 1 dog and 2 fish tanks, freshwater and saltwater. I love to read and do cross stitch and dance. My friends and I go line dancing regularly and we have the BEST time doing it!! I think that's it for now!!

Oh ya, I mostly lurk but will occasionally pop in with an opinion or my own experience, I hope that's OK with everyone!

Hi, i am a Louisiana mom with a great DH and two DD's age 11 and 3. I am an RN but am only working PRN right now. Each time we plan a Disney trip, i come to the Dis for all the great info about the resorts especially discount codes and trip planning. Our next trip is this november and it will be my DH's first ever DW trip!! It will be my 7th DW trip and the 3rd for DD age 11 and 2nd for DD age 3. I am a big time planner when it comes to Disney and i pretty much visit the Dis every day until we take our trips. I am a little obsessed with the website, lol! I love reading the trip reports (especially the one from Buzz, i have never laughed so much in my life) I can't wait for our trip and am praying for a room upgrade since the garden view at the Poly is about max for our budget!! I love hearing from other moms about tips for traveling with preschoolers to DW! Hope everyone has a magical trip to the world!

Hello My name is Melissa I am 27 and from Riverside ca. I am married with three girls two of them being 2 year old twins and the oldest is 6. This year for the first time we bought premium season passes for Disneyland. And we go as mmcuh as we can. I found out about this site from my cousin and I love her for showing me. I am hooked I have to check it daily and often more then twise daily. I really like the all the ladys shareing their cute clothes and giving us ideas to make things for our family.

Hello everyone!

Haven't seen anyone from the UK admitting to it so I'll be the first...

I'm Richard (36 - but I'm sure that must be wrong, I feel more childish than when I was in my teens sometimes), married to Claire 28 with our beautiful daughter Ellie 2 years 3 months. We live pretty close to the site of the Battle of Hastings in a beautiful part of the UK.

We've been to WDW only twice: once in Sep 2004 which is where we discovered that Ellie was on her way to us (BTW, Tower of Terror when you're newly pregnant is apparently not a good experience!) and then again last September, this time with the little person who made our first trip so special. Both times we stayed at AKL and are going back in 25 days from now... Just hope the construction isn't too disruptive...

I've been lurking here since 2004 when I researched our first trip and decided to register this year as sharing what we know is what makes this board so valuable. The other sites I frequent the most are Facebook (hmmmmmmm) and the National Hurricane Center!

Hello,
I'm Nichole and am 33 yrs. old. I live near Knoxville TN but am from NJ (shore) originally. My DH is 32 and is not crazy about Disney like the rest of us. He tolerates it but complains often . He thinks it's too much work and would rather nap in the room. I have 2 wonderful children, DD is 7 and DS is 3. I'm a SAHM who is never home as I run kids to activities all day. DD takes dance 3 days a week since she was 2.5 yrs. old. DS just turned 3 so is not in preschool until next year but i take him to kindermusik, storytime and sometimes Germboree .

I have been on the DIS since February 06 and am a bit addicted to it . It's not as much fun when ou don't have a trip your planning though. I have been to Disney 6 times and the DD and DH have been 3 times and DS has been 1 time so far. Our next trip is 38 days away and we are counting the minutes until we check into the Polynesian our favorite resort. Although GV is as good as it's going to get with our budget we are thankful to be able to always stay deluxe on our trips so far. My first trip when I was 6 was at Ft. WIlderness with my family. Did I mention I hate camping of any sort even in and RV or camper. It's just not my thing. But I guess my brother thought itwas fun since he is taking his family to the cabins the same week as us. WL is as woodsy as I get. It's my second favorite resort. I spend most of my time reading trip reports or on the resort, family or theme park boards.
Anyway I get teary eyed just thinkng of how much fun we, the kids especially are going to have. That is the best part for me. My DH thinks I'm a Planning freak but he does understand how necessary it is to plan so we can have the best time, eat at th best places and our kids will get to experience the best things at Disney. My favorite character is Tink, DD and DS love them all. Although DS can't wait to see Mickey again. We are also attending our first MNSSHP this trip and I already bought my kids costumes.

Even did a stint as a CP, which I’m planning on again. My next trip is in September! Gonna be fun! I first joined the DIS a long time ago, but that account kind of… died. So I’ve got a new account. I lurk on all different boards, mostly the UK boards, but so far I’ve mostly posted on the Game board. Hello there! My name is Anne and I am a proud Disneyholic! I am 30, DH is 32-we live in Lawrenceville, GA. We have 3 boys-11,5,and 2. I first went to Disney World when I was 9, DH (Troy) grew up in Miami so they went all the time. Our signature is a combination of his and my childhood trips, plus the times we've gone together. We're annual passholders, going at least twice a year for the past couple of years. We're taking our next trip the week of Thanksgiving (CBR), then again in February with DH's parents. I discovered Disboards in April this year and have been Dissing daily ever since (mostly at night when DH is trying to sleep ). My favorite boards are the Families, Theme park attractions & strategies, and Creative boards. I love to take pictures at Disney World and come home and scrap them-I think I took about 950 on our last trip . I am so glad my DH loves Disney World (almost) as much as I do!

Hello Everyone! I'm Ronda(33), married to Mike(33) and we have 5 kids. DD15, DD11,DD8, DS7, and DS3. I stay at home, but plan to return to school soon. Mike works for the cable co. I join the Disboards in 2004 I think, I read more than post, but the last few weeks I've been on a roll! (for me anyway). I am however a thread-killer and I feel sorry for every OP when I decide to respond! we live in J-ville, Fl. Keep annual passes and visit 4-5 times a year at least. My sister says I was Disney deprived as a child and that's why I'm such a freak now. My husband just says I'm a freak, but he secretly loves the World as much as me and never complains when I plan a new trip. We have too many animals,a bull, chickens,geese,2 cats,numerous lizards/snakes, a spider, a dove and recently adopted a sight impaired raccoon. I don't have a specific board I visit, I read them all everyday!! (don't want to miss anything) Anyways, glad ya'll got to meet me (and sorry in advance if I kill this thread!)

Hi! I'm Monica. I'm 31, DH 36, DS almost 6, DD 20 months. I've been lurking for a couple of months, but joined the beginning of this month when we got our new computer. I'm pretty addicted lately! I visit the Theme Park board and Dis design board. I even purchased Photo Shop to make our own shirts! I've just started reading this board.

I visited twice as a child. Then in '96(ASMU), '98(CBR)honeymoon, '04(ASMovie)My son's 1st visit 2 weeks before he turned 3 so he was FREE! Our next trip is in Dec. Staying at POR, my daughter's 1st visit. We love Disney. We always take my mom. I am so excited about this trip I have to Dis because everyone else is sick of hearing about it!

I just started Homeschooling last Monday! I live in Ohio. Work PT on the weekends. Glad to meet fellow Disaholics!

I found the DIS (I call the DIS "my mother ship") While planning our first trip ever to WDW! Hi. I'm Sally and I've been on the DIS since July 2000. I can't remember how I found the DIS, but I am so glad I did. I am addicted (like right now I should be sleeping, but here I am!)

Lately, I find myself most on the Family, Budget, Creative and DVC boards. Our 1st trip to WDW was on our honeymoon in 1989. Since that 1st trip, we have been to WDW 18 times. On our 10 year wedding anniversary trip, we bought DVC at BWV - LOVE IT. Our next trip is 10/27 with 6 families (family & friends) and MNSSHP on Halloween night.

DH & I both work FT. DD will be 4 in October. She goes to daycare full time and will also start preschool 3 mornings per week on 9/6. She is the light of our lives. I am training her to be a disney addict as well

My names is Adabel (30) married to DH (35) and proud MOM of DS3. A co-worker told me about WDWINFO about a month and a half ago and all of a sudden I find myself here. I pretty much look at all of the boards 'cause I find all of them very interesting.

I went do DisneyWorld for my senior trip in highschool for the 1st time. Last year I was told at work that I had to go to a conference and I was like but then later in the day they mentioned it's going to be in Disney So of course.. I made a huge sacrifice to attend

I have convinced my DH to come with me to the conference this October and celebrate my son's birthday during the trip. I'm really looking forward for the trip, specially since will be celebrating DS B-day and just going crazy making plans and thinking abour room decor ...

Hi... Nicki here. I'm 30 (ugh. don't think I've had to type that one in yet.) Not that I mind being 30, I do believe you're as young as you feel (in which case I'm about 407 ), I just don't like how much younger our interns seem to get each year!

I have a wonderful DH and a DS2 who is the center of my world.

We're all going to WDW this fall, and I found DIS while researching the dining plan when DH sent me a link. I lurked for a while, then finally signed up and now I'm hooked big time. DH likes WDW, but I LOVE it, and I like Disney in general as well. I'm jealous of those who have whole families of Disney lovers and can convince everyone to go each year. But, since DH is perfect aside from that I guess we all have our trials.

Also, I have an unhealthy obsession with the little smilies. If I could do a whole post with nothing but, I probably would.

Hi! I am Megan (29). My DH is 41 and we have a 13 month old dd and hope to add to that soon.

I grew up in CA, so have been to Disneyland many times. This year was our first year to the world. We bought into DVC and went twice. Family vacations are important to us and how we want to raise our kids.

I am a loan officer and my dh is a truck driver. I learned about dis last year. I lurk a lot. Love to visit the restaurants, trip reports, family, and dvc boards.

Hello! Cheryl here.......... I'm 32, DH is 32 (1 month older! HA!) and DD is 4, 5 in October. I've been on the DIS since March of this year and started as a lurker for our 1st trip ever, May '07 at POR. Since we got back, I knew I wanted to go AGAIN, AGAIN, AND AGAIN......... So, we are going back this September!

It took a little work, but I convinced DH that we should take this trip in Sept with free dining. It is an early b-day SURPRISE trip for DD and a late anniversary trip for us. We just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary August 25th! Yes, I know, we have a 4 yr old and have been married 1 year. So, we did things a little backwards

Oh, that sounds familiar! I'm Claire, age 37, so is dh Jim. Our son and daughter, Carson and Mary Jane are 11 and 8. DH has been to WDW over 20 times! I am trying to keep our December 26-30 trip a secret so we can suprise the kids on Christmas morning. Any scavenger hunt type gift reveal ideas?

Hello my name is Cynthia, My DH and I have two older daughters who are now grown. My Dh is active duty Military (GO NAVY)(FLY NAVY) I am working part time at a golf course improving my skill (I'm a beginner to the sport ) Until our new son arrives via adoption in the very near future.
We are DVC owners and have been on 2 cruises. The last was the Eastbound transatlantic repo to the Med. We will also be on the westbound Panama canal cruise in May of 08.
