Hi Everyone..

Well I got home about half an hour ago!

I think it went ok but it's hard to tell isn't it

There were 10 in the group and a similar sized group before us. There are 8 vacancies so I guess I stand a chance. I HOPE i stand a chance

We started with filling out an availability sheet. then we had an icebreaker - we had to give our favourite character and say why.

after that a 20 question quiz (which i think i did really badly on - it was things like what colour is pocahontas necklace )

we then had to pair up, find a toy and sell it to the rest of the group.

then a merchandising task. they split us into 2 groups and gave us each one of their wall bays. We had to discuss how we would make it better and then present to the other group.

then a general Q&A session.

It lasted nearly 2 hours in total but it passed quickly.

I was shocked by the lack of effort some of the girls made

I think I must have been the oldest there as the others were all uni students from what I could gather so hopefully that will go in my favour. One girl had on the shortest skirt and **** tube! The skirt was almost transparent
They said they will get back to us by the end of this week or the beginning of the next week...

I'm a UK cm. I'm afraid I didn't see this til it was too late but I just wanted to say I've got my fingers crossed for you. And TWO HOURS? Wow, that is a long interview. None of our ints ever last that long. Also don't remember them ever being asked 20 questions - sounds like you might have been hit by the Expedition Knowledge ones (judging by the Pocahontas one) .

Anyway, sure you did well...keep us posted

the managers said it was a quiz that they have to do something to do with local, district & national competitions

it was hard They said some of the questions were store related (like related to something that they had in stock so we just had to guess those ones.

I am confident about 3 of the questions, the rest were pure guesses

Hopefully everyone else will have done just as badly!

Now I just have the worst part... the wait.

Yep, that's Expedition Knowledge. It's a European CM quiz. You don't HAVE to do it but lots of cast have a go. It is supposed to be hard and lots of cast only get a few right. It goes on store level, then district, then country, then European. I just came second again by one point for the second year running on the country level *rolls eyes*. Don't worry, most cast only got a few right on the one you did Sure you did fine!

There is one question that's bugging me tho'. It was "which disney character can be seen walking the streets in the film hunchback of notredam?"

I think the choices were hercules, belle, aurora and 1 other... I went for Belle. Was I right?

Thanks. Yeah there were only five of us at nationals - one for each district. Trying to think who was from that store...Christine maybe.

Yep, you were right it is Belle. During 'Out There' when the camera pans down on to the Paris street, Belle is walking along reading a book.

As the days tick by I am convincing myself that I didn't get it

I really hope that they tell me how I did on the quiz tho

well, i got a call at 7pm today to tell me that I passed the interview and that I have a christmas job

I had convinced myself that I hadn't made it so I am so pleased

Now I just have to figure out how to get them to keep me on after christmas. During the interview they said that there was potentially 1 permanent vacancy
