Interesting ways to take pics with Characters?

So, this will be our 6th trip. My kids are 8 and 9, and they've been to each trip along with us. We have done almost every picture opportunity. We have them, with great memories to go along with them...

But I can tell my kids are bored with it. Stand by the character, look at the camera, smile, and leave. So I was thinking this October we could mix it up some.

What are some interesting ideas for character pics?

(Especially when at a character dining restaurant, my kids look at me like 'do I have to get up again?')

On a side note, we have one picture when ds was 4 and I hadn't realized he had peed in his shorts and he got his picture taken with Jiminy Cricket. And I giggle every time I see that picture! I'm not suggesting to be THIS different, but at least it's a chuckle! :)

My husband did a "muscle show off" with Gaston, and I asked Buzz Lightyear to point to Infinity with me. I also have a photo of Pluto kicking his leg in delight as I scratch behind his ear.

Repunzal pretended to braid my dd hair for a pic. It was cute. :)

Selfies. lol

THIS! They also work as a great deterrent. Any time my 3yo is acting up I show him this pic to remind him that I know this furry guy and can call him at any time to tell him we can't come visit anymore:

* With female fur characters, you can have each of them kiss their cheek (We did this with Minnie and Daisy. Kiss on the nose with characters with big noses works too.
* Do a #1 hand gesture with index finger with Donald.
* Goofy pose with Goofy of course.
* Sleeping pose with Aurora.
* Mulan at characterpalooza likes to do different warrior pose.
* Look and point at watch with White Rabbit.
* Drink tea with Alice.
* Rub belly with Pooh.
* Bounce with Tigger.
* Entice Meeko with food.

offer Snow White an apple...

on our last trip (during Star Wars Weekend) - DD took to teaching the characters to do the 'force push'. Merida, Tiana and Rapunzel all took to it well! Tinker Bell was a lost cause - I guess Fairies get confused easily... Phineas and Ferb not only did the force push but they broke out their light sabers and had a battle. Loads of fun!
