Interesting new rumor re: BLT Incentives...

We also heard the same from our guide when we met with him last thursday at WDW. He said that BLT is 3/4 sold and they were removing the incentives come June to let the last 1/4 to be sold at the full price per point. (I'm sure he wasn't just saying it to make us "hurry up and buy" since he knew we would be adding on--it was just that we wanted to see the models in person before we did...)

It seems like I've heard this rumor before. My guess is that the salespeople are basically giving half the info. They say all the sales incentives are going away (might be true) but leave out rest which is that all the incentives that go away will be replaced with new incentives.

For DVC to pull all incentives and sell at full price would be a huge diversion from their standard practice and would mean that DVC demand and sales are at an almost unprecendented level. It would also mean that BLT is selling at a 30 to 40 point premium over other DVC resales. Judging from the fact that resale prices have been pushed way down, including ROFR thresholds it seems, I highly doubt demand is at a higher level right now.
