If the fee posted more than 31 days ago, she won't get a refund. If she paid it, but posted less than 31 days ago she will get a refund (we just got a check for ours).I didn't clarify to my dd very well on cancelling her AMEX gold, and she paid the annual fee last month. If she cancels now, will they refund any of it? Or is she just out?
Thank you! It's a Delta gold and she already has a Blue, so nowhere to go.If the fee posted more than 31 days ago, she won't get a refund. If she paid it, but posted less than 31 days ago she will get a refund (we just got a check for ours).
If it has been more than 31 days, she could downgrade to a green and get a prorated amount back.
Very welcome, points already posted to my account. Deal for UT seems to come and go like the hotels.com offer i'm waiting to come back.Thank you so much for posting about this!! It showed up in my account, disappeared, and then showed up again a couple days later. I was able to buy our Universal tickets and already got the email about our pending points. I never would have looked without this post.
We got a notice on Tuesday in the mail, for a CIU. It was about changes to the "Pay Over Time Fee", so it made no difference to us.I'm curious what is coming from Chase in the mail today that says Important Information Enclosed: Changes to your account. One coming for each of us.
)It's been a while but I think if you call you have 30 days maybe 60.Good morning
I forgot that my Citi AA Biz card renews this month (it has a $99 AF). I have no plans to fly American in the foreseeable future so I should have canceled it before the AF hit, but it has already posted to my account.
Does anyone know if Citi will refund the AF if I cancel now? The statement closed 12/26.
I wouldn't worry about it until it happens but that's just me. I haven't had any problems with Citi besides combining thank you points.I'm wondering about the Barclays AA to Citi AA. I just opened the Barclays card a few months ago so I am guessing I can't really do anything about it being converted? I think my biggest concern in all of this is that I am one of those people that Citi IT hates so I feel like I am not going to have access to my card anymore once it transfers over. I opened a bank account a year or two ago for a bonus and after multiple attempts online and over the phone to access my account I gave up and had them cancel the account.
That's awesome! You did way better than us. I booked 2 rooms for 1 night for an insane amount of points this week. Wanted to be onsite before moving to Beach Club. Have a great trip!We are using our second half AMEX Platinum THC credit in a week! The Dolphin was $694 including taxes and resort fees for 2 nights. Subtract $300 AMEX credit and the $150 credit and I’m down to $122 per night! Plus, I got 35 DVC points back by canceling my first two nights. The luggage fairies will move our stuff for us.
Also received our missing support points from Chase- but I did get an SM. Thanks for this group for the dps, it certainly prompted me to pursue it; I would have probably just let it go since they changed the support rules early.Got DH's missing support points. Only took 1 SM this time (and 8 days). Oddly, no SM that the points were given, I just happened to see it.
I have been deep in the weeds using up every last credit I can think of that expires at the end of the year. And boy, am I mentally exhausted.
