What is the current interest rate being offered by Disney for DVC financing?

10.9% with 20% down for up to 10 years. The 10.9% only applies if you opt for direct debit to a bank account, you may opt for either the 1st or 15th of the month. Otherwise, if you chose to pay by check, the rate is 11.9%. All loans have no pre-payment penalty. These rates only apply to you if you contact your sales guide, and he offers it to you, then a 30 day clock starts to tick away. During those thirty days, you must accept the offer to purcase, along with your intent to finance at these rates, and give your 20% down. You may use cash, check or credit card for you down payment.

We recently got 10.95% with 20% down on a ten year mortgage. There was talk about the rate going up, but with the fed decreasing the prime rate again, maybe the increase won't happen. If you call DVC they will give you this info. If you are afraid to call them because you think they will give you the pressure play or will keep calling you, don't be. Their sales staff is very low key and low pressure. Hope this helps.

We were just quoted 13% for a 100 pt add on at VWL. Who can I ask about this?

BETHA, I don't think there is a problem, I maybe didn't explain things that clear in my post, however I infered it. This deal is for NEW purchases only. By the nature of the question, and the number of posts he/she had recorded, I assumed it was someone new to the board and interested in a new purchase. Add ons are treated diferrantly. The 'special rate' is for people who have contasted a guide, and when the guide offers them the rate, they have 30 days to act, and that is it. NO EXCEPTIONS. This has been posted on this board many times since I started coming here in the last 9 months. So, in conclusion, I don't think you have a problem, it is just that your situation is diferrant.


As for 10.9% vs 10.95, I am sorry, I thought it is 10.9. Maybe I am wrong. The guide will straighten this out when the poster calls. In any case isn't that just $5 per 10,000/ year ?
