Lindsay/Sidney Greenbush, who played "Carrie" on "Little House on the Prairie" could not act her way out of a paper bag. I mean, she was cute when she was little - but once they gave her dialogue - forget about it.

Who else really can't/couldn't act?

I'm going to go with most of them. I honestly think most actors/actresses just wind up playing themselves in the movies they are in.

LOL - I was watching the L.H.O.T.P. marathon too and I tuned out and came here when the episode with Carrie and her "friend" came on. You're dead on with this poor girl. They even had to get new kids just to try to get someone who could act....but I couldn't stand Cassandra either.

How true. By the way - how's baby Dodger E? :flower:

Here are two sure to stir the pot. :teeth: Recent vintage Jack Nicholson and Bill Murray. Smug fools playing the same character over and over, both of them.

Ashley Judd. I just saw De-lovely last night and though she's beautiful...

Susan Lucci from All My Children. If you have seen her on talk shows, etc. either she is playing herself as Erica or she has played Erica for so long that she (Susan) has become her (Erica)

I totally agree that the twins from 7th heaven can't act. It's almost painful!LOL

Also, David Caruso. I don't know if it's as much he can't act, or he constantly overacts on CSI Miami.

This is going WAY back! On The Partridge Family the girl who played the younger daughter. Suzanne something. She would just stand there and look like a zombie! :earseek:

I think she might actually have been a zombie. :scared1:

Bill Murray

Might have agreed till Lost in Translation. I thought he was wonderful in that. Of course maybe he was just playing himself (sold out actor in a midlife crisis) there too.... hmmm.

I also would say the twins on 7th Heaven.

And the nominees for actor least able to act are:
Kevin Costner and
Edward Norton

Even my mom agrees about David Caruso--she says all he does is take his sunglasses on and off or stand with his hands on his hips.
I don't know if they are trying to make Paris Hilton an actress, but after seeing her in clips from last nights SNL--whoa, she's bad.

Edward Norton? I wouldn't call him a bad actor. But I feel the same way about Jack Nicholson. I mean, some people may not like them but would you really say they are the worst you can think of?

Halle Berry.
Haven't seen a movie yet that she was any good in, but have seen plenty where she was aweful; Die Another Day, both X-Men, Catwoman, Swordfish.

John Travolta; there's another guy just being himself, not really acting. It's like watching Vinnie Barbarino grow old, badly.

If I had to pick, I would say Ben Affleck. He seems like a nice enough guy but his movies are terrible and that has a large part to do with his acting. The only time he's at all enjoyable is with Matt Damon in cameo appearances during Kevin Smith films.
