grinningghost! LOL! Yes Mark Spitz is still alive and he might even be an announcer for this year's summer Olympics swim competitions as he has in the past! LOL! I too had and still have a thing for him. That just cracked me up. If you had a thing for him back in the day, I would say you were a young girl or a young teen. If you were about 10 - 14 years old, he would only be approx. 10 years older than you! :tongue LOL!

My vote goes for Lyle Alzado. No one filled out a black t-shirt the way he and those biceps did. Oh I was in love with him! Too bad the use of steroids took his life. He was not only good looking and built, he had a heart of gold. Too bad really.

He's only 54! And, he still looks pretty good:

I had a huge crush on Mark Spitz back in '72. Had "that" poster on my wall. He was a hunk.
Back then, I also thought Don Murdoch (Hockey) was just adorable.

Now, I have to agree with Oscar de la Hoya. I don't think he should get in the ring and take a chance on messing up that pretty face!

And then, there's Javy Lopez--currently the catcher for the Baltimore Orioles. He's a hottie! Mike Piazza is very good looking too.
