One very valuable tip I gleaned from the DIS saved us some grief during our Fall 04 AKL trip: DON'T PARK NEAR THE ISLANDS IN THE PARKING LOT.

My sister-in-law and her husband were with us, too, and ignored my warning. I could tell they thought I was being silly, too, whenever I passed up good spaces just to have plenty of asphalt around my car.

Well, you know what they spent most of their last day and a good part of their drivie home doing? Yup . . . removing ants from their mini-van.
