Inkedupmomma's 1st PTR ever! Home sweet home..ugh.. TR started..link is up!

I do know that kind of shirt! Hmmm.... I wonder if one would look swoony on my DH...... :cutie:

So - I missed it - DD can still go to Disney even though she had her tonsils out, right?

John look dorky in everything!! so i bet your dh would look rockstar in them!! plus doesnt your dh like button downs?? http://www.aeropostale.com/product/...761&clickid=cat_leftnav_txt&parentPage=family
That is where we got them.. i know that store sucks.. but i saw it in the window and took a chance!! glad I did!

as for dd she didn't get her tonsils out yet. she will this nov 18. I said I wished i had gone to the ent dr in the winter and had her tonsils taken out over the summer, then I could have rewarded her with this disney trip :rotfl:

Oh yeah - DH already has some of those, and he does look good in 'em!

I thought maybe you meant the kind with flashy piping and embroidery and fringe and stuff... :rotfl:

That shirt just scared the skin off me.

Hey! I happened upon your PTR and now I'm hooked! You're a fun read, and someone else who gets tatts and skulls... what's not to love?

Because my baby girl is starting 2nd grade today, and I can''t quite handle it. A couple of my friend told me I have a problem and I need to learn to let go... but I can't :guilty: So I ask all you moms of older children, and grandmoms, How did you deal?? The way I see it is with each passing day I'm losing my baby more and more, til eventually shes out the door completely starting college, getting hitched or whatever then making her own babies... oi.. I won't be able to handle those things. Sorry for the melt down, it happens anytime something big happens with my kids (bdays, school starting, first tooth coming in,first tooth falling out,etc...) Ok, gonna try to pull it together, and will be back on to reply to the awesome posts i see!!

Dude (I say dude a lot, but I'm from So. Cal. I'm allowed) when my son started school I about died. I cried my eyeballs out and NOBODY could have POSSIBLY understood the turmoil, the PAIN of my baby growing up... I won't even lie and say it gets easier, because it doesn't but you come to terms with it and get through each thing one at a time. The next thing you know they're starting 7th grade and are turning 13... :scared: I nearly had an infarction when he started puberty and when the first 'girlfriend' came on the scene I about had to take to my bed for a week!

The funny thing is I have four kids now, and he is the only one I get like this with. All of the other ones go through their firsts and it's great and I'm so proud of them and blah, blah, blah. But with my BABY... There's weeping and wailing and general gnashing of teeth.

If you figure out the trick to getting through it, you let me know.

In other news...

Congrats on the upcoming trip! I'm looking forward to hearing all about it!

So, DD had an an appointment at CHOP (children's hospital sorry) today with ENT and don't you know she has to have her tonsils/adenoids removed!! Why couldn't they have found this out years ago or months ago when I asked and then I could have been like im so sorry your getting this surgery..wanna go to disney?? So now I have to miss work for this, and disney.. with no pay!! so what did smart little me do to make us all feel better?? that's right went shopping.. we were going anyways, but it felt good to go after bad news. John was able to snag 3 new pairs of sneakers all for $130.00!! nice comfy, very cool sneakers at that! Plus I convinced him that he needs a pair of vans :) They looked hot on him.. but they weren't on sale :rotfl: OOOh Best part is, the one pair has lime green in them..hehehehe.. stealthy dis addition there and he doesn't even know!! We also got him some plain ol' boring shirts ;/ Then we got Jack another pair of converse and both the kids got Peter Pan, cause I realized I didn't have it on DVD:scared1: how can they go as tink and Peter Pan if they can't watch it on the drive to Orlando!! I also picked up the lil' knife thingy that Peter Pan carries around his waist. Sad to say, but I don't think John and I will be dressing up for MNSSHP... too hot and yeah kinda ran out of time... I hate how that sounds but it's true. Oh Jon also got really cool indie like button down western cowboy type shirts *swoooon* Lurky, I know you know which ones i'm talking about!!! Make out city, I love him in those kinds of shirts!! they were also on sale!! Last but not least I bought my boss some crocs flip flops for her bday!! but I got black.. I'm kinda thinking maybe I should have gotten her some colorful ones?? Not everyone despises color like me and I forget that from time to time :rolleyes1 Oh what the heck I'll even throw in some bonus foodie material, we had lunch at our numero uno fave spot Cheeburger Cheeburger!! seriously if you have one near you, go!! For lunch John,DS, and I all had cheeseburgers and dd had some called the wedge which is fried macaroni and cheese triangles.. yes they are as disgustingly good as they sound!! the kids split a cookies and cream milkshakes and John and I split heaven in form of a white chocolate macadamia nut milkshake!! Everything we had was amazing! but I have to admit I got the smallest cheeburger and hardly had fries and split a shake and I was full full full!! I hope I can "man up" and eat like the fatty I know I am on the Deluxe dining plan!! If not, no big loss, I won;t cry about food like some people on this dis, but I still want to try so much deliscousness!! OK! I am tired and need to sleep, hope you enjoyed my hot tranny mess of a post!

signing off,
Jp

PS- ONLY 9 DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE... HOLY SHI* I'M IN THE SINGLE DIGITS DEPARTMENT AND I JUST REALIZED IT... WOOOOO FREAKIN HOOOOO:scared1:

Yikes! I hope DD is ok. Is the surgery before or after your trip?

I loveeee those shirts. Guys look so....yum in them! And Vans of course are my favorite shoes ever. I live in them. Besides looking radtastic I think they're pretty comfy.

its afterwards.. but I still don't want it to happen. I'm paranoid about surgery!! DS had to have his kidney fixed at a year old and I lost my shi* when they took him from me, and then was a basket case... mind you we had the chief of Urology at the number one hospital in the usa ( My friend works there, thats how I got the chief!) Surgery is never easy, anything can happen, even with the best or surgeons! But I'm gonna try to not think of it until November!

and aren'tthose shirts the most to say the least!! yummmmo. and i just finally bought some vans. the old school 50's looking ones that tie up.. basically the slip ons with laces. i have to break them in more though. the back still kinda rubs me the wrong way. Now me and dd having matching vans though :cutie:

Oh I know trust me. DS had surgery when he was 7 weeks old and I totally lost it. They said it would be 45 minutes but it was more like 2 hours because his case was more severe than they thought it was....the doctor said it was the most severe he had ever seen. We had an EXCELLENT doctor who is a huge deal but none of that matters when it's your child's life in their hands.

I used to have the tip up ones. I broke them too easily though. My slip ons will last about 2 yrs before I have to get new ones. Although, the pair I wear now I've only had for like 6 months and I can feel the material thinning out over my toes. These might not make it as long lol.

If you pre purchase a Photopass DVD for $99 you can pay a $25 sitting fee at one in a list of resorts and get 1/2 hour with a Photopass Photographer. We did it for the Poly on the 17th. It was easy to schedule. I'm not sure if that will work for you but it's a thought.
