Information on the 1 day/2 park ticket

Just got back and we bought our 2 park 1 day pass at the gates...........my advice is go for the discounts beforehand!!!!! My husband didnt want to buy them prior to leaving and therefore we paid full price, plus bought the express passes for everything at $20+ per person extra, which that was well worth it with the crowds we had!!!

Great time though, one day is not enough!

imallset -- How much were the 1 day/2 park tix (adults and kids) at the gates? I called AAA here in CA and they don't offer Universal Orlando tix....only Universal Hollywood. Where else can I get the discounted tix for the 1 day/2 park, if not at the gate? Thanks!

Well I never went up to the ticket counter with my husband, but he handed me the receipt..........it came to a whopping $620 for 5 people for both parks WITH express pass for both parks. We are two adults and 3 children, with my 11 yr old considered an adult. I can say though that the extra $20+ per person for express during the crowded time that we were there made it possible for us to enjoy all the rides in one day and was the one thing we paid for that was worth every penny.

I can't find this pass anywhere! Could someone please post a link to find it? We like this option as we only have one day and have been to the parks before.

Check with your local AAA office or www.aaa.com. I know that they are offering for 69.95 plus tax a one day 2 park hopper with added benefits for buying them in advance. (Four people came to a grand total of $300.)

Couldn't find anything at AAA either. I think that maybe these passes are no longer available.

Call your local AAA office. You don't have to be a member to buy them. If they don't know anything about it, have them call Universal Orlando and ask them. I bought mine on April 2nd!!

I called my AAA in NJ and they do not offer the 1 dy/2 park pass but suggested buying the 2 day/ 2 park pass for$97 for adults and $86 for kids and said the passes are good forever so if you do not use the 2nd day now it can be used on a future trip---that is what we are going to do---if anyone has any luck at another AAA please let me know---thanks

I think the AAA link above only works if you are part of the states making up AAA of the South. I am not and cannot use that website. I can use my local one but there is no 1 day/2 park ticket or the get the second year free annual pass.

I just sent US an email asking how I can buy this pass in advance, so I will post when I get the info. I could have sworn I saw this pass on the U.S. site not too long ago with a price of about $77.xx for adults, I even wrote the price down in my planning notebook, now I go to the site and can't find it. This is why I sent them an email.

I WANTED TO SHARE SOME INFORMATION. THE ONE DAY/2 PARK PASSES CAN ONLY BE BOUGHT AT THE PARK OR OVER THE PHONE. THE PRICE IS $73.95 + TAX. IF YOU ARE MILITARY YOU CAN GET A 10% DISCOUNT----CODE UNUSA. EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS.

This is great to know. My husband and I are going in November and we will only be able to spend one day At Universal. I know he wanted to see and ride some of the rides in each park. Everything I had seen so far was just about one day one park.

But I can just get it at the gate or when calling..... ok... thanks

Hello Everyone,

I just got off the phone with Universal and they say that there is a 1 day 2 park pass, but you cannot buy it over the phone, it's not something they advertise and you have to buy it at the gate.
Th cost is: Adult - 78.76
Child - 67.05

ON 6/4/04 I BOUGHT THE ONE DAY/2 PARK TICKETS OVER THE PHONE. I RECEIVED THEM 6/10/04 IN THE MAIL. THINGS CAN CHANGE. BUT THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE.

Did this $78.76 price include tax?

The one day pass from AAA is $52.50. So, the extra park pass would cost $26.26 more (half of a one day-one park pass).

How late do the parks stay open in mid July? Trying to figure out if it is worth going to both in one day. We will have the FOTL passes.
