I had never gone on it before our last trip. It doesn't really stand out much, but it had no wait time so we decided to get on it. They ask about 50 different times for everyone to be sure they can sit for 40 minutes straight.
We went into a room where we had a little pre-show. The actual "ride" was a huge auditorium-looking room with TONS of rows of seats. They were sort of like church pews, and I honestly think the ride could have seated a few hundred people. I counted 32 seats on each side, and I bet each row could seat 10 people. But we had a whole row to ourselves, and the ride wasn't even 1/4 full.
We watched a video in that room, but then the seats all broke into 4 different very large vehicles. The vehicles start moving and go through a tour of prehistoric times. I thought that part was pretty neat. Then we came back to the room and watched the rest of the video. It's not a super entertaining or thrilling ride, but I found it much more interesting than I thought. We plan to ride again this trip. For what it's worth, it was just my husband and I (no kids), and I don't know if I'd recommend the ride with restless kiddos or anyone with a small bladder. I didn't fall asleep, but I did actually recline on the bench with my legs up beside me. It was very relaxing. The whole thing is probably 3/4 part show and 1/4 part slow-moving ride.
