I have been to Disney several times and am determined to do all the things this trip that I have never done in the past. I have never done the Ellen attraction. Is it an actual ride or an attraction? I have heard that it is very long and boring, if so, is it possible to leave if I wanted or does it move and then I am stuck there. I'm sure I will enjoy it, but hate to be stuck for that long if it truly is that bad. Thanks for the info

DH and I think it an enjoyable ride/attraction. You are seated in rows in a large moving car (thing). Once it goes, you cannot get off until its over. It's not the most thrilling but we find it interesting and it nice and air conditioned. Also great for a bit of a nap lol

It isn't that bad. You start out watching a video then you board a huge car that takes you through some scenes along with a couple of videos. It is about 45 minutes but I don't think it is too boring. I don't know if you can leave but you really shouldn't. It is a ride you should do at least once!

Personally Ellen's Energy Adventure is one of my favorites. It is long (about 40 minutes) and you can't go anywhere once it starts because you are in big moving vehicles. I think the humor is nice and the info is fairly interesting but it could use an update and I can see why people might think it is boring. t is a really nice break from the heat though and if you enjoy Ellen Degeneres you would like this ride.

I enjoy it. Have done it at least 26 times, and I always find Ellen amusing. If it's summer, its great to be inside the air conditioning for 40 minutes. I also find it informative.

You have to do it once! We're all a little jaded with all the thrill rides available, but I remember being just amazed the first time I rode: a whole theater section that could go on a ride? Super cool.

You're not missing anything.

We call it the nap ride.

It's the best place to go when it's hot and you're tired. You can cool off and sleep for a half hour.

You can NOT up and leave. If you try to, they have to stop the whole ride and evac it so they can reset. Do not get on this ride unless you know you can stay on the whole time. It will ruin the whole ride for everyone if one person tries and leaves.

I thought I would really want to experience this attraction until I watched a video of it on You Tube. Once I saw it I decided I do not want to ride it. So if you think you might want to ride it DO NOT watch it on You Tube. Keep it all a surprise.

If you are a Disney fan, I think you ought to experience it at least once. I think it's interesting and a little goofy. But, make sure that no one in your party needs to go to the bathroom before getting on this ride. (I speak from experience :cool1: << what my 10-year old was doing during the entire ride)

We enjoyed it and we do ride it every trip. It has nice A/C plus you get to sit so it is a great choice if you are hot and have sore feet. It might be boring for young kids but there are also parts in it that they would really like.

We just did it yesterday. I hadn't gone on in years and thought it was enjoyable. It's definitely not horrible by any means. It's worth doing.

Took me years before I actually tired it, but now it is a must do! Yes, it is long, but it has Ellen, Bill Nye, and dinosaurs! I love it!

Stupid Judy, stupid energy!

Go when you're hot and tired. It's a nice way to cool off but then I'm a fan of Ellen and Bill Nye and have never found this ride boring.

I don't think you'd get bored the first time. It's not a bad ride, just seriously in need of updates.

I enjoy it! Ellen, Bill Nye, Alex Trebek, anf Jamie Lee Curtis are great!

I had never gone on it before our last trip. It doesn't really stand out much, but it had no wait time so we decided to get on it. They ask about 50 different times for everyone to be sure they can sit for 40 minutes straight.

We went into a room where we had a little pre-show. The actual "ride" was a huge auditorium-looking room with TONS of rows of seats. They were sort of like church pews, and I honestly think the ride could have seated a few hundred people. I counted 32 seats on each side, and I bet each row could seat 10 people. But we had a whole row to ourselves, and the ride wasn't even 1/4 full.

We watched a video in that room, but then the seats all broke into 4 different very large vehicles. The vehicles start moving and go through a tour of prehistoric times. I thought that part was pretty neat. Then we came back to the room and watched the rest of the video. It's not a super entertaining or thrilling ride, but I found it much more interesting than I thought. We plan to ride again this trip. For what it's worth, it was just my husband and I (no kids), and I don't know if I'd recommend the ride with restless kiddos or anyone with a small bladder. I didn't fall asleep, but I did actually recline on the bench with my legs up beside me. It was very relaxing. The whole thing is probably 3/4 part show and 1/4 part slow-moving ride.

My grandkids, ages 13, 11 and 10 enjoyed it. And as everyone says, it's a nice cool relaxing break on a hot day. The dinosaurs are great and there's a lot of interesting information. .

I rode it alone since all the people I was with said it would be boring, even though they had never ridden it either. I found it very entertaining and the 45 minutes went by really fast I thought it had been 15 when it was over. It is a ride I will make sure to do on my future trips.
