Incident Reported Tuesday Night at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Monorail Platform

On Tuesday evening, just before 7:00 pm Eastern, a guest sadly jumped or fell from the monorail platform at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. The person's condition cannot be confirmed at the time of this post.

Disney said those reports were erroneous. The guest did not fall onto or was struck by the monorail.

Sadly it looks to be an apparent suicide.

We are at Disney right now, and we didn't hear of this this till today. Sadly, this isn't the first apparent suicide around the Contemporary

People die every minute of every day.
People attach Disney to get clicks and views.
Sad really . . . .

For 50+ years, wdw has been able to 'hide' all incidents. Those days are gone.
Sometimes there is video on youtube before WDW knows about situation.
