Will Brent be the CD for the Fantasy?

I just saw this going back through the post to get all the names, but yes, according to Peter on the 1/8/11 Magic cruise Brent is currently with Rachel on the Dream for the inaugural runs of the ship so that he will know what to do when the Fantasy joins in. I don't know if he meant to say that but we were talking about many crew members & where they were currently and when I asked when Brent was due back from vacation it just kind of came out. LOL!

My DH John is working on a private website as we speak so we can have more flexibility. We have our own domain (needinfo) that we use for personal purposes. Like right now, I have our last years WBTA Madeira trip up for this years cruisers. Click here: WBTA 2011 Madeira trip

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Transatlantic Pirates website! Hope we have one like it for this cruise. I'm just a fan of a private cruise website. We had one for both of our prior PC cruises and it just makes it so easy to find the info you're looking for.

I love the DISboards for chatting and stuff, and I spend what feels like half my life on Facebook, but nothing beats a dedicated website as a clearinghouse for everything as things heat up and the info is coming fast and furious!

Haven't seen those but we picked up a pair of the Waterford Crystal champange glasses from either the Wonder's or Magic's Inaugural season on an eBay auction a few years back. LOVE them! Hoping for something similar for our Fantasy MV!!!

I guess everyone has their favorite cruise director. We first met Brent on the WBTA last year and enjoyed him and appreciated the work he did/does. However, our fav is, and will always be, Christiaan. Can't really tell you why as it's just a "thing," but on our 5 Wonder cruises he was always there with a smile and remembered us from cruise to cruise. Maybe that's what it was; just a bit of a personal touch that truly was appreciated.

Anyhoo, whoever is going to be CD, I'm just glad I'm gonna be part of the experience!

I am having a real hard time right now.

On the WBTA 2010 thread I would have to check the thread every few hours just to keep up. We seem to be a little slower here, not that I am complaining. I just don't know what to do with the extra time I have now

I am sure things will pickup as we get closer, maybe around the time our counter gets to less than 365 days

ROFL!!! I know what you mean. My first 5 meets threads were almost a full time job to keep up with. We skipped the thread for the 6th and last thread was very light but the FB group picked up closer to the cruise. Think of all the stuff you can now catch up with though...laundry, housework, scrapping all the stuff from your last cruise. LOL!

I am familiar with laundry and housework, but by scrapping do you mean tossing stuff out or scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is my DW dept. However, I do know what embelishment means and who Tim Holtz is.

WE DID IT!!!

We are booked for the cruise. Didn't get the GTY, it was gone, but we think we will have a nice room. I think every room is going to be nice.
I can't believe we are going on the Maiden Voyage!! This is just too cool
There will be 3 of us, me denise, my DH Jimmy and our DD Eleni. Eleni will be 22 at the time of this cruise. She's not even 21 yet and it sounds so weird to say she will be 22. I, on the other hand, will not be older.
It will be our 9th cruise...so close....
