Inaugural 3/31/12 Fantasy Cruise

When I booked over the weekend I went thru Costco Travel. First time with them. Went very smooth. I am getting a Costco Gift Card after the cruise is over for $405.00. It can be used at Costco or just cashed for money. Plus I used my Costco American Express and will get 2% back. Total will be $506.10 back!!!!

Paid the full deposit and the cabin was the same price as Disney.


We are very happy about the refund vs just getting a shipboard credit. Especially since Disney is not giving any discounts for booking while on a cruise

My wife had so much fun on the Dream MV that she decided to join the Fantasy MV ( we originally couldn't go but with the date change it fell in line with the kids spring break). Lots of fun and a great group of disboarders. Ken (along with several others) made lanyards and "honorary" Aquaduck fast passes for all that requested one. A great keepsake. Linda organized a stateroom tour, that gave us all a chance to see each category of stateroom, including the Roy suite! Thanks Linda...my wife especially loved it!

It was fun meeting the other disboarders and with the special lanyard we knew who they were!

Looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones! Will sign up for the FB page!

Welcome aboard!! We are Noel and John and this cruise will be our 6th DCL cruise. Next cruise is a repeat of our 2010 WBTA.

I am envious that you got to go on the Maiden Voyage of the Dream with so many of our friends. Our schedule did not permit it so we are really looking forward to this cruise. How fun to have a stateroom tour on the Dream. Hope you took lots of pics and are going to post them here on the boards!!

Yeah!!!! I knew we'd see some more familiar faces. Can't wait to hear all about your experiences on the Dream so we know what to look forward to on the Fantasy. Although from some things I've read hopefully they learned some lessons for the next time around.

Glad to see you booked. Ray and Debbie told me you them your info. We got back yesterday from the Dream and we're exhausted. The kids took all this homework with them and didn't do any of it onboard. They were not happy when they got home and had to start on homework right away.

Anyone on the fence about booking this cruise needs to do it ASAP. The prices have increased since yesterday anywhere from $900 to $1300 for different category staterooms.

Have you seen the prince changes for this cruise since yesterday? I was shocked at the prince increase for the same cat I purchased less than a week ago. I guess I did save.

In the e-mail send me your stateroom number, Disboard name, first name of each person in the stateroom, relationship to you (DH, DW, DD, DS, etc) ages and gender of children. For example here is mine:

Age: Kid at Heart
Disname: W@LL-E
First name: Wally (DH)
Age: Kid at heart

Once I add you to the list I will confirm via e-mail back to you. If I do not write back to confirm, that means I did not get your e-mail. At this moment we now have 20 cabins with 57 people participating I will probably send the first list out to participants this weekend.
