I will be crying as well in 3 weeks. I know its no big deal and I am being a baby, but Alexa starts K and Alaina start pre school. I don't think I have enough tissue.
 

I can't say the name but I work for a credit and debit card service provider. My role works with financial institutions and their account holders. I'm a supervisor in the collections area.

Lisa - thanks for the words of encouragement. While I am thrilled I have done so well and maintained my loss, I just can't shake the feeling that I am not done yet. I feel I have more to lose. I'll get there. It is just going to take time and patience.

Off to get some more work done - yeah. Meh is more like it.

Nancy - hugs to you for that event that happens in two weeks.

Jo - doing a morning workout after a workout the night before is rough. Not enough rest time. Do it sparingly and do the easier workout in the morning if you can. That usually works for me.

EE - glad the healing is still going well. In this case, itchy is good right?

Kat - I'll post food later tonight I promise. Not my best day on record, but at least it is not the worst.

Kelly - how are you doing? You and your mum surving the start of your new food plan alright?

I didn't mean you're done Paula. I know your goals and that you want to lose more. I just feel your frustration lately -and I feel that maintaining is HIGHLY underrated for people losing weight. HIGHLY. And it's good to remember/friendly reminder of how much you've accomplished (I know you do Paula - I mean in those REALLY frustrating moments)

l - jc cheesy potatoes and chicken (think of a kfc bowl but way healthier) and green beans
s - reese's pb cup (full size - sigh)
d - jc mac and cheese
s - iced non fat chai latte and blueberry scone from starbucks (double, no triple sigh)

as I said, not pretty... Tomorrow is a new day.

He will indeed have a bit more freedoms. And hilarious thought here. He wants to set me up with Skype so we can video chat when he's away. :scared: Ms. Techno-impaired. I didn't even realize that my computer had a web cam on it. (it does, as he so thoughtfully pointed out to me)

I remember when my kids went off to school for the first time - it IS a big deal. You'll miss them at first, but you'll be just fine :laughing:

I don't know how people survive on only meager amounts of sleep! I was out until well after 3:00 am last night (this morning?) I gave myself a break and instead of the alarm clock going off at 6:00 am (my leisurely summer wakeup time) I set it for 7:30. But 4 hours of sleep is not enough for me. I'm in super slow-mo today. Hoping the coffee kicks in soon :surfweb:

So - the reason I was up until almost 3:30? My daughter got to spend some quality time with her father and I in the E.R. :headache: yep. My problem child ;) She had a bit of an accident yesterday evening when she was preparing the wash solution that we use to clean our goat milking machine and ended up with some pretty harsh chemicals splashed in her eye.

She flushed it for a good 20 minutes (not that she was happy about that mind you!) while I was reading the label, on the phone with Poison Control (who were GREAT btw) and deciding what to do. After several conversations over the course of nearly 2 hours with the Poison Control people (did I mention how FABULOUS they were? 'Cause they were awesome) it was decided that we needed to have her eye evaluated for chemical burns. So, into the ER at the Children's Hospital we went. And sat. And sat some more. The staff at the hospital were all wonderful, but they were on patient overload (who knew that 11:00 pm on a Tuesday would be such a popular time of urgency!). Plenty of nurses, support staff, etc, but not so much on the actual Doctor end. :sad2: The final result was no chemical burn (thanks to my insisting that she keep flushing for 20 minutes), no cornea damage - just some rather uncomfortable scratches & irritation on her eyeball and lower eye lid.

Antiboitic eye ointment and off we went. She seriously asked the Dr. for an eye patch pirate: which was hilarious. Alas, no eye patch though (boo!) She's still asleep, I'm struggling to find the energy to plod my way thru the day <bleh>
