Ah. Look at his little face. :lmao:

I can't wait to get them out of the box and hold them. I suppose I'll have to let Maddi go first. Darn kid.

:rotfl:

Okay. I want one now. Does that make me 6?
.

Hopefully - in spirit. :goodvibes ;)

hair cut & color - check (don't hold your breath Lisa )

Oh I'm not. :sad2:

:

Seriously, I bet this will totally jump start your loss again.
!

Absolutely. :thumbsup2 The verdict is in Paula. :goodvibes

Thanks for the site E. Omg the zhu's have arrived! I will have to log in to see the pics. They wouldn't download on my phone. At the basketball game with my son. Tip off in a few and he is so excited.

Good game Amiee?

My post to Cathie just made me think of something that I just naturally do all the time now and I thought I would share. I so often hear people say "But I don't have TIME to workout..." Bullsh*t. Nancy and I are two of the busiest people I know and we both put in some of the longest hours for fitness. Everyone has TIME to do it, you just need to make it a priority.

BUT I realize that it is tough to get in that mind set, so I have lots of tips. There is a lot of down time in a day. For example, I often have to wait at the bus stop for 10-15 minutes in the afternoon (since the bus is never consistent). Sure, I could just stand there (or sit in the car since we have to drive to our bus stop) doing nothing. But that is such a waste. Instead, I use this time to do my squats and lunges. For people who have kids in sports-- When the kids have a game, they usually have to be at the field 30-45 minutes before the game for warm-ups. Most of the moms just sit their in their chairs and chat. I use the time to go for a run. That way I am killing two birds with one stone. When I take Cammie to her piano lesson, I just have to sit there for 30 minutes and wait. Again, I will do a short bonus run or just go for a walk to add some extra miles into my day. On a conference call? I sit on the exercise ball and do some sort of core or leg work. Because why just sit there for an hour? And any time I am walking from one place to another (the parking lot into the mall, for example) I walk FAST. I don't stroll.

Also, I always have a stocked gym bag in my car. Full set of workout clothes, water bottle, sneakers, and socks. That way if I get stuck somewhere, I can at least do *something* instead of wasting that time and then saying "But I didn't have time to work out today because X happened."
'

On the bold - well I'm not as busy - no kids - but it's just a choice. As simple as that.

I've got the upper hand in that for me my priority is mental health. And I need - absolutely need - to work out for that. So can't give in to "no". Easier than doing it for other reasons.

Good Morning...

Lisa - tell Jean the village is awesome!

OK - off to the Post Office and then the gym. I have a quiet night to myself tonight. My parents and my sister are off to a basketball game (my sister's college alma mater) and I get the house to myself - can we say heaven? Now, what movie to rent to watch while I am sadly, doing work that I brought home. :rotfl2:

I'll check in later - provided Jesse doesn't actually kill me today. Oh, I am getting a walk in after my workout so I should be thoroughly exhausted by the time I am done. Exhausted, but in a good way right?

Good morning everyone!

What a night last night. Fun, fabulous music followed by closing the bar. Tonight we have a 2-fer. First is a 4H awards dinner that we are hoping to sneak out of early so we can head off to the real fun at our friends annual Christmas party.

Liz - I don't know how you do this. I am in much need of a nap. And it's only 10:00!

Off to catch up on the thread.

Good morning! Nancy--wow! Just call you Liz!

Lisa--LOVING the Christmas Village. And as much I as adore Christmas, I often hate the crappy or tacky stuff that people do to it. Jean's set, however, is lovely!

So here's the conversation Jeff and I just had (and you have to know that my tone was totally calm, normal, bored even. I was just browsing through a catalog when we started this conversation):

J--What are we doing tonight?
Me--I don't know, nothing.
J--No, I mean what are our plans.
Me--We don't have anything planned.
J--What do you mean we don't have any plans?
Me--I don't have anything on the schedule.
J--but we have had plans every Saturday since March.
Me--I know. But we don't have anything on the schedule for tonight.
J--I don't understand.
Me--I don't understand what's not to understand.
J--so we're just staying home and having a regular night?
Me--I guess so. I mean, we can all watch a movie together or something like that.
J--so what are we going to eat?
Me--I don't know yet. I'll make something. We won't starve, I'm sure.
J--I don't get you. What's wrong?
Me--*just stare at him in disbelief*
J--well, I guess we could all go down to Portsmouth and then out to dinner or something.
Me--Why? I don't need anything in Portsmouth.
J--you're acting weird. Are you getting your period?

At this point I just rolled my eyes and left the room. :rotfl2: Seriously, is it so wrong to have a Saturday night off???

I was terrified of moving my runs to outside. But OMG, now the thought of running on the TM is just vile!

Definitely the TM is not my run of choice anymore either. I just get so.bored. Give me the great outdoors! But, I will say that TM tends to be easier on the body than road running. I much prefer trails - even if I do end up with an occasional *incident* (I'm sure I told you about the time I tripped and literally bounced like a cartoon character :upsidedow)

We haven't discussed workouts recently. Are you gettin' it done? :confused3

And loving the Christmas display. Nicely done :goodvibes

Good morning! Nancy--wow! Just call you Liz!

I know, right? Except Liz would have tons of fabulous pictures.

So here's the conversation Jeff and I just had ......

:rotfl: Ok. So I stand by my statement from earlier this week. Men are so wierd :lmao:

Good morning! Lisa- great game decided in the last 30 seconds.

Pacers? Or a local game?

Thanks Paula - I did tell her. Praise fuels her life. :lmao: She - unlike me - ADORES to be the center of attention.

Paula - when does your new schedule start? I forgot. The new year?

And Troy? Are the two places close? What am I getting wrong?

Enjoy the house.

I know. I know. :lmao: But I tell her over and over that I want her social life. I come from social butterflies too. :sad2: Still in their mid seventies. You can't even read their calendar. :goodvibes

I will tell her Erika. Thanks. However tacky is her middle name. She ADORES tacky. :rotfl: But the village isn't. So strange.

Loved the conversation. Too funny. Especially I don't need anything in Portsmouth. That one killed me.

:rotfl: Ok. So I stand by my statement from earlier this week. Men are so wierd :lmao:

Don't tell me men are so weird. :lmao: I have to pump myself as it is. :rotfl: Stop that. ;)

Exercise - bang on Nancy - thanks. I switched over my intervals to Jillian's - crap what is it Boost Metabolism Banish Fat. It's so flexible. I switched over in September because I found it very depressing to workout in the basement. Remember my workout room in the last condo was on the roof - floor to ceiling windows so the basement was killing me. This I can do upstairs. Sometimes I make it an hour and sometimes I make it a half hour. You can make your own workout - it's forty minutes if you do as is - but I pick and choose the intervals to fit my sets.

Eating consciously - way off - eating cause of anxiety over Mom and missing the city. At least I know. But I must get back to drinking V8. I know it's not more vegetables - but it really keeps the emotional cravings down. I truly believe that some cravings are from not getting enough nutrients.

E-love the commentary!

Lisa-it was the University of Evansville. We play at Roberts Stadium(a real stadium, but not very big. Holds about 13,000).

Enjoy your nap Nancy!

Nice Amiee. Division II? I?

I want a TRX - Oh I've decided I want a TRX :dance3: - does anyone have one?

OMG. My sister is too funny. She saw Jean's village - which she's known for its decade of existence - they love to add to it - and she saw the small pics of it and thought I had gone to Williamsburg. :lmao::rotfl:

Ie. She thought it was real!

You probably aren't laughing - it's a Debbie thing. God broke the mold - he really made this one quite special. :lmao: She's so funny.

Oh, how I wish! I *need* a nap, but make no mistake there's no nap in my schedule today.

I want a TRX - Oh I've decided I want a TRX :dance3: - does anyone have one?

I have no idea what you are talking about - so, no, don't think I have one:laughing:

Craptastic weather here right now. Rain. Sorta. It's on the cusp of liquid & frozen precipitation. <bleh> So unmotivating!

Nancy - google it. It's been on the BL. Let me find a youtube link.

Will be back. Just looks interesting when I'm bored with my routine.

Holy crap! Talk about a core workout! No, not in this house. If I put up a pole in the house, I would be expected to use it as a stripper pole! :scared1: :rotfl2:

Back from soccer. They got creamed, again. 8-0. And while I am bummed for them, at least I am somewhat vindicated as a coach. (We lost last week 8-1 and today they had the regular coaches back.)

Nancy--it is just starting here. Looks like it's gonna be a gross one.

Lyz--the box arrived today! Woot Woot. Now Jean Claude has accessories! I'll ship the slide to you on Monday, so leave me your parents' address. Now if only we could find the house....:lmao: It's an obsession! :rotfl2:

OMG Erika. :lmao:

I know what a video that was - I was like  to her strength. She actually has stripper exercises on youtube. Just sayin'. :goodvibes

I'm so frustrated. It - TRX -doesn't have to be hardcore. They used it on the Biggest Loser. But all I can find is hardcore videos. I can't even imagine lifting MY weight! :rotfl:

I've seen it used for simple exercises and flexibility moves. Great for travelling.
