In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

OMG. I'm crying. Lisa, I love you. Yes, Liz, insanity. I've officially embraced it, as I found myself praying for the safe arrival of these little rodents. :rotfl2:

And have you seen the video on them? Pure evil, poor little rodents! OMG. It's like they made it drunk. Or on speed. The preview on their website is so worth watching. :rotfl2: Cracked me up. I can't stop laughing about the breathing hole! Adorable!

Please, please, please go to the website and read the FAQs. Hair entanglement. Priceless.

This is like living in the Robin Williams movie about the toy factory. Anyone remember that one? I want pictures on Christmas Day of the girls and their hamsters, as well as the detailed unpacking!

OMG, Zhu Zhu tracking! I SO love it! I swear it is better than Santa tracker! (Does anyone else do this? We do...the kids LOVE santatracker.com on Christmas Eve.) But THIS is priceless! The air hole! YES!

And Nancy--I know what you mean. I was actually saddened when I read that Jean Claude had been separated from Chunk. Like thinking to myself, "I hope he's ok..." I have officially lost it. But yes, let's all embrace it!

Thank goodness Maine has the cleanest air in the country. We'll get him to forget all about his time in God-forsaken Buffalo. :rotfl2:

Ok, going to check out the website now.

Hair entanglement.

God help me, I'm choking right now :lmao::lmao:

Did you see there is an iPhone app for zhu-zhu???
:rotfl:

OMG, there's an App for that??? :lmao:

Ok, I need the link. I saw the commercial but can't find the FAQs anywhere....

Paula, I don't understand this. Now this is coming from someone who hasn't lost anything in the past 2 years. But the "why" is so obvious to me. For multiple reasons!!! I would think you were struggling with the effort not the reasons.

There are many obvious reasons why including because I will be healthy, because I will look better, becuase I will feel better, etc but the problem is none of these reasons are clicking with me and keeping me from eating every bread, sweet, carb infested thing in sight. I need to find that reason that resonates with me and I am struggling to do that.

Nancy - I totally agree with you in what you said about Paula. Totally. Why can't it just be simple - because I can and because I want to - regarding losing. Totaly agree.

Sorry Paula - I'm talking about you like you're not here. :confused3
That's ok, I am used to it from my family... :rotfl:
But I do think that anyone who had a lot of weight on - some just gain some because of habits but not when it's lifelong and/or a lot. - needs to look at why it came on. Because in truth it is an addiction at that point just like drugs, alcohol etc. Since looking at my past the weight loss is just easier - not easy NOPE - just easier. In fact the first forty or so came off with no thought - it was just a byproduct of my work.

I was thinking about Oprah the other day. She out and out said she has never seen a therapist. And I understand for her the show and good friends have provided that release. However, I couldn't help but think that maybe there is some thought process from her sexual abuse swinging it back and forth still. Maybe. Even her trainer (Bob) will not take clients on unless they know why they got there.

But as for why off - Why can't it just be simple - it's time.

Thanks Paula for opening up with us. See how it helps everyone.

I so got to get off the disboards now.

Lisa - It should be simple, but again, my motivation to eat right is just not there at the moment and I need something to kick me in the @ss and get me back on track. I think it may have something to do with my still adjusting to my new role at work. I am focusing so much on that that my energy just isn't there for much else. I just don't know. Just in an eh kind of place.

I'll get there. I know I am not done yet. Just need to dig in and find the next gear. In the meantime, if my struggles can help someone else, than I am glad I can help...

And Paula--remember that it is both normal and HEALTHY to lose, then wait a while and then start losing again.

OMG!!! Zhu Zhu tracking. FREAKING HI LAR IOUS!!!! I enjoy you all so very much. Must go check out the video.

Liz, Emily didn't want one?

Associated Press, somewhere in Ohio....

At exactly 9:49 PM Master Chunk of the Toronto Eaton Centre broke out of the Parrysburg, Ohio Fed Ex center. Destination unknown (really destination unknown - no update until tomorrow Fed Ex is claiming on this one :lmao:).

No one knows why he chose a late night escape or why he was so unhappy but witnesses claim they heard him exclaim as he nibbled his way out,

Jean Claude!!!!! - ou es-tu Jean Claude - ou es-tu? :rotfl:

So true Erika - this is why I am not totally throwing in the towel and losing it completely. Remember 2008 where I bobbed along losing and gaining the same five pounds for what felt like forever.

The zhu zhu tracking is totally cracking me up. Loving the stories about the little guys. Too bad the recipients won't know about all that went into getting them.

Kat - I seem to be having a problem getting the guys to wire up my new office - care to come up and show them how it is done? I really need to get out from under the stairs and move into my new office with windows. The only thing holding this up is the darn data lines...

Exactly Paula and look at you go. Before I came on here I just maintained my loss many a time over the years - you are on full speed ahead which is marvelous - so give yourself a break.

For me - I needed that mentally - to adjust to accepting the new body - mostly the responses from people - for me I hated being noticed. Just hated it.

We all have to remember the triumphs. I literally used to cry about being noticed. Unreal I know. But GONE!!!!!:woohoo:

I'm really struggling the last couple of days with food. I had popcorn. You know I could care less what I eat - but popcorn is a big sign for me. I think I told you all I used to shove it down as a child/teenager to numb. Big sign. Sighing. Onward.

I ADORE the Santa tracker Erika.

And Rudolph was on tonight. I thought of your mom. :lmao:

And Kelly the Love Rat was singing in NYC tonight. Lookin' all cute.

OMG, I will totally tell Kelly the entire story! It is a must!

BTW, I don't think I've mentioned that Kelly has discovered texting! She is completely obsessed by it. And her favorite person to text?? LYZ! SO funny! And Lyz has been such a good sport...she responds every time. :goodvibes She wants to know all about Maddi and what she is doing (they are only about 3-4 months apart), and since Lyz has Flat Stanley right now, she wants to check in on him. Pretty much any excuse she can come up with!

:lmao::rotfl2: It is SO true. My brother called me earlier laughing that Rudolph was on and I better go check on Mom to make sure she wasn't calling the network to complain! :rotfl2: Or just hittin' the sauce. :rotfl2:

Speaking of hitting the sauce. Funny story. I went to our specialty wine shop today to pick up a bottle of Chocolate Wine for a gift. (Yes, you read that correctly. It is the most awesome beverage on the planet, I swear. Rich, dutch chocolate and red wine. Amazing. But that isn't the story.) So while there, I am chatting with the owner who I know well just from being a long time customer. And she and I are talking about this specific wine and I was commenting on how we store it (since, really, Jeff and I cannot finish a bottle just the two of us. It is THAT rich). And this other customer pipes up and starts telling me how to store wine. We have a wine cellar in the basement so I am starting to roll my eyes at this point. The owner just cuts him off cold and says, "Oh, no need for a lecture here. Erika doesn't screw around when it comes to booze." OMG, it was SO funny because it is just so true!

Like when I was doing my Thanksgiving shopping. You know how you have a really specific list when you are making a meal like that, right? Like, the list has tons of stuff on it like 8 oz of such and such brand blah blah. Super specific. So I have this whole list that is like that, full of all of my specialty items, and then a line item that just says BOOZE. :lmao::rotfl2: I don't know, I just found it hi lar ious! It made me laugh all day.

Ok, off to bed. Tomorrow it is back to Zhu Zhu Gate! But if grandma Meredith and crew aren't there, then I am out.

Good Morning!

HiLarIous!!!!!

Funny how people just decide, "I'll have a Zhu Zhu".

You know what the funniest part is - it was an article in the newspaper saying how popular they were, and how everywhere was selling out of them that made her decide she needed them for her kids! :confused3 I don't understand people sometimes!

LisaV - You are too funny! Im loving the travelling updates!

Erika - Good luck on part 3! I hope you and Grandma Meredith kick bummocks today! :rotfl:

Voices in my head - Yes, tea will cure it. In fact, tea apparantly will cure anything. And is served everywhere. Honestly, wedding or funeral I can guarantee there will be tea! :lmao:
Please note - Im actually drinking a cup of tea whilst typing this :rotfl2:

I hope everyone has a great day :upsidedow
