In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

I just had to tell you guys this!

****Carsyn just came upstairs - asking where her pants are. Like they fit me or something! :lmao:

She washed and hung her jeans up on Sunday in the laundry room. It seems that it is a probability that Baylor - in haste yesterday when I woke him up and told him to hurry because I was afraid with traffic we would not get to the airport - not only wore, but also packed her jeans. :rotfl2:

I had done laundry Sunday also and told him to get 2 pairs of jeans packed in his suitcase for Colorado from the basket in his room. That meant 2 more for Florida and 2 for Christmas in Iowa (Yes packing 3 different bags at once for 3 different locations so spreading out the clothes.)

At 5 am he may have just gone in the laundry room and grabbed what was hanging versus what was in a basket right in front of him. I was up making breakfast so did not see what he grabbed.

When I came back down - He said he had put jeans in his suitcase and was set. I had asked how when I could see his basket had not been touched.

He said - I grabbed ones that were hanging.

I assumed he meant in his closet.

Now I think he meant hanging in the laundry room. :scared1::rotfl:

Now that I think about it - his jeans yesterday had silver buttons on the pocket but he sometimes gets clothes from friends or with his Dad so I did not think much besides noticing that they were almost too short and he would need to donate them after this trip.

I would not assume he would fit into Carsyn's pants. He is 5'7 she is 5'4. he weighs almost 40 pounds less than she does. But with a belt - who knows?

So now I am going to have to go buy Carsyn some jeans because she is back in gymnastics and working out and toning up and truthfully only had 3 pairs of pants - as she wanted to get more as she kept re-defining her body.

And Baylor - who she wants to throttle for not answering his phone in Colorado at 6 am, on a ski trip, has girl jeans! :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Oh this cracks me UP! Poor kid!

I had haddock francaise with spinach, but then again I wasn't home for dinner tonight thanks to a meeting I was at. I think they had roast beef and potatoes. I'll have to think of some ideas for you.

Had a great workout with Jesse tonight. We introduced some plyometrics into the mix since I got the full blessings of my doctor to run and jump again. My doc was so excited when I saw him this morning for my physical. He was impressed with the loss, the way I have been doing it and is totally on board for the 1/2 marathon. He made me get both the flu shot and the H1N1 shot (which NY just opened up to the masses a few days ago) stating that he didn't want to see me sidelined by anything. It was the best physical I have been to in forever....

Dawn - have a great trip and safe travels for you and the brood.

Hi Dan...

Hope everyone else is doing well...

Paula! That is so fabulous! What an amazing feeling! Don't forget to let yourself enjoy it!

PAULA! That is amazing news! So exciting! Own it.

Still in grading hell here, though if I actually buckle down I should get through the bulk of it today. Of course, I said that on Monday and Tuesday....

Heard from Lyz. They went to Blizzard yesterday and are hitting MK today. Ah to be at MK today! Weather and crowds are both great.

More later.

Oh to be at MK.....been having some severe post trip blues lately (which is funny since our trip was in Sept lol) so to think about being there, makes me tear up a little. Especially since Carlos isn't sure if he wants to go back next year for vacation....he wants....to.............take a year off from Disney:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

Oh and BTW I heard your email on the email show from last week!!!! That is SO funny! What a funny way to find out someone else is a diser! I would have been thinking the same thing like "oh crap, this guy thinks I'm insane" :rotfl:

Hi checking in. My mom is fine but in the hospital for a few more days. I'll be scarce. Hopefully she will be out by the weekend!

Very exciting E! Can't wait to hear it.

Glad to hear an update on your mom Liz. Saying a prayer.

Sitting in Target's parking lot. Just finished a tradition with Ryan - shopping for his sis. Taylor went last night.

Woo Hoo! I'm the thread killer, lol.:lmao:

Kat - I used your idea of Laughing Cow as a sandwich spread (Garlic and Herb one). Yum! I used my low cal bread, grilled veggies (peppers, onions, tons of mushrooms), topped it with tomatoes and lettuce. Little guilt and very filling.

Good morning george! How are you? Just felt the need to break out in song. I don't want to work today.

I think I'm going to fall over at the fact that I'm not the only adult who knows that song haha!

Hey. Mom is out today. Posting via phone, FYI. Also, text from E, Kelly is in. Details later. Just wanted you guys to know where E was.

Great to hear about your mom Liz. Oh no about Kelly. I'm guessing its her kidney. I hope not.

I'm here. Things are ok, though a bit chaotic. We are home right now--in between hospitals. Kel has been in the local hospital for the past 2 days, home now, and tomorrow she may be admitted down in Boston, but we are waiting on test results. Will give a full report later.

Thanks, Amiee. Really, this is part of life for us so it isn't as dramatic as it all sounds. Mostly, I am just really tired right now and Kelly is beyond miserable, which is hard for any parent to see.

Ok. Is it wrong that I just sat here and watched the SNL/Alec Baldwin classic "Schwetty Balls" skit with my daughter :lmao:

ok. off to catch up on what I've missed....

E - sorry to hear about Kelly. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

Amiee - I didn't want to go to work today either... Hate it when that happens.

Liz - glad to hear that your mom is home.

Quiet times around here. Work, gym, sleep, repeat. That is my cycle these days...

Hope everyone is having a good night...

Well. *THAT* didn't take long. Very, very quiet around here. Everyone must be as crazed with life as I am these days.

Liz & Erika - :grouphug: Hope all is going well with your families.

Becca had her chorus concert tonight. It was really fabulous! We've definitely paid our dues with all those years of cute and, at times painful, concerts over the years. It's nice to be rewarded with such a wonderful performance.:goodvibes

And I had a *lovely* session with Erin this morning. The gal I was working out with is not doing this session, so it's just me and the fiesty Irish Southie  OMG. I haven't sweat or swore so much in for.ever. She's so very excited that I'm now training for the 1/2 marathon. She's got "plans" for me. yay? :scared:

E - I can't imagine how difficult it is.

Paula - I understand the cycle. That's how I've been feeling this week.

Nancy - Do we have a future Taylor Swift on our hands?? Erin's plans scare me too.

Nancy - Becca's concert sounds fantastic. Why is it when our trainers tell us that they have 'plans' for us, it is terrifying? Keep me posted on what Erin has you doing. I am curious.

Ugh. It was horrid. After I had warmed up on the elliptical the "circuit" party got started. For the introductory round I did 30 seconds of each of the following exercises, with 10 seconds rest in between.

"curtsy" lunge w/medicine ball

Kettle bell swing w/20 lb kettle bell

push-ups

Squat jumps

High Step-ups

up-right rows - ez bar w/20 lbs

assisted pull ups

(shoot. I'm missing something here, because there were 8 rounds....I've blocked it from my memory apparently )

Anyway...then it was on to 20/10 intervals. Where I did 20 seconds of the exercise, with 10 seconds rest BUT I did 6 sets of each exercise in a row before moving on to the next one. The first set was fine. 2nd? not bad. 3rd started getting hard, but by the time I was on my 5th & 6th I just wanted to cry

After all that wonderful fun, it was core time. Suicide push-ups (4 sets), planks w/pilates style heavy exhale breathing (3 sets), and. and....twisted side planks w/hip dips (4 sets, 2 each side )

Have been thinking about you Liz. Glad to hear that your mom is out. :lovestruc

Erika - sighing. I know what you said but sighing. :lovestruc

Paula - I loved reading about your physical. It SO made me smile.

I'm in NYC right now. Just arrived. Long story. In and out. In the city - Manhattan -tomorrow. We didn't know whether we would come before Christmas or between Christmas and New Year's. Totally on the fly.

But - I will be back here from the 5th of January until the Friday of that week. I'm coming into see Carmen at the Met. :lmao: Flying in the day of the opera. :rotfl: On points. I just love saying I'm flying in the day of the opera. :lmao: Don't I sound ______!!. Anyway on that Thursday I would love to see anyone that can see me. I make no sense - it's late. Forgive me. Who is going to see me? I'm giving advance notice people.

Love to all. :lovestruc
