Thanx everyone for the welcoming words of encouragement!!
Im trying to go day by day....today has been a good day....
Why is it though that when you are doing your best is the time when all the sabotagers come out of the woodwork?????
I have had so many home health agencies calling me (Im a nurse in an assisted living facility) wanting to bring me lunch from places like olive garden so they can try to get me to use their services at our facility....then theres my husband who wants to snack during all these pre season games....and oh friends who I havent seen in awhile are calling and wanting to go out to dinner....and theres my co workers (kitchen staff) who are bringing fresh made donuts to my office, and telling me lunch is not good w/out the gravy and oh I made these new 7 layer brownies..you gotta try one....ARGGGG!
Why do you not notice those things untill you are doing all you can to lose weight????
Today I have managed to avoid alot of those things....I took the gravy...on the side, and only dipped my fork in once....I had some pot roast, veggies, and maybe 3 bites of the mashed potatoes and only half a slice of the home made wheat bread...and yes I did take 2 bites of that 7 layer brownie....but I threw the rest away! Now that is progress.....and I am soooo overly stuffed now that I wont have dinner.
But I will drink lots of water!
I CAN do this, I Can do this, I CAN do this! I have to continue to repeat this everyday, all day...for now...hopefully soon I will develop good enough habits that it wont be a problem.
I hope everyone else is doing well today.
BTW, thanx for posting the link to the allears at large....reading some of the reviews makes me feel a little better...
