ugh. Nothing really "fancy"...just traditional stuff...like Russian Teacakes (totally addictive for me), Jam Thumbprints...peanutbutter blossoms, sugar cookies...gingersnaps (TOTAL crack. And we make those year round. God help me if I have to make g-snaps & cream cheese frosting on the same day. Best cookie sandwich EVER )...snickerdoodles...gingerbread men, chocolate crackles, lemon-almond cookies (OMG.)...toffee bars..

It's challenge that I don't really need...

I've seen the lights before. Loved them. Hubs and the girls have not. Excited for that. We are not doing MVMCP. Since I have free dining, I am trying to make this a "budget" trip. We wanted to stay at all stars but it was booked.

LOVE the lights Even if you don't do a Candlelight Processional ticketed "package", you can get a spot right outside the...arena? what do you even call that? ....anyway..and you can listen, even though you don't have a seat....not *quite* the same, but still good.

How come your so special other than the reasons that we already know!

They've been sending me stuff too...Becca and I want to go, but...the "boys" all want to <gasp of horror> "go somewhere else for a change" So, we are looking at the possibility of San Antonio for April...

I was just sitting here thinking that 4 weeks from now, I will be carbo-loading for the 1/2 marathon! It came up SO quickly! I signed up in May and it seemed like it would be forever until it got here!! Can't wait to run WDW with 20,000+ of my closest friends!

We're getting pizza for dinner tonight and I'll probably head to publix for a few groceries later on. They have great BOGO deals.

Hey....stealing internet. Not really. At the local library so J and I can post messages to work and let them know why we have dropped off the face of the Earth. Then taking the kids out to dinner. Roads are ok right now, but are going to be terrible later tonight and tomorrow when the temp plunges.

We are warm and have some basic lights now (J got the generator running, but that took a good chunk of the afternoon). No tv or internet, of course.

LOTS of trees and limbs down. Our neighbors who moved to FL...wow. They have 4 trees down. Just got off the phone with them letting them know what the deal is. Later this week-end the kids and I will go over and clean it up for them.

Beach roads are all closed...lines down, sea wall is in danger, etc. But we are good.

Might be a slumber party at my house tonight since we have heat and most don't. I think my parents, J's brother and his family, and some of our neighbors may all be crashing here. And I can't vacuum! OMG, one of my nightmares.

Hopefully I will be on tomorrow.

I know! WTH right? Somehow I think the males missed out on the "disney gene".

to be honest...I can see their point. I think we've been 7 out of the last 9 years...and one of those that we "missed" we went to Disney LAND instead DH and I have thrown in a few "alone" trips as well...

we haven't been since last April ('08) but have no Disney trips "in the works" (insert pouty face here)

The Disney Marathons are like no other. We've done the 1/2 and the full both. The excitement and energy are amazing. (considering that they want you at the Epcot parking lot at 4am ) We also ate the "pre-race pasta dinner" at Wide World of Sports before both events...of course, we were from out-of-town, staying at Disney...but it was a lot of fun to eat with others who were running...finding out where they were from, their "stories", etc. If you are considering it - I'd say do it.

When we crossed the finish line for the 1/2...they were announcing the people who were finishing. They must have had a list of names & home towns based on bib numbers...they said our names - totally cool

Wear the Donald medal with pride, baby! I have the matching set of Mickey (full) and Donald (half). The year we did the full was the last year they held the 1/2 and the full simultaneously. Still haven't found anyone crazy enough to go for the GOOFY with me (half on Sat. Full on Sunday)....ERIKA...are you LISTENING?????

we had pizza too...I'm currently avoiding the left-overs..I can hear them calling me, but I'm trying really hard not to listen!!

Isn't it amazing how we take all these things forgranted? We're pretty much in the same boat as you, but we (personally) never lost power. Many folks DID lose power here, and some won't get it back for 2+ days we've got an "open door" policy here - folks always welcome to crash...no "takers" for tonight....yet.

So, I was having a talk about the Cullens with some friends and everyone was saying which Cullen man they were most into and why, etc. It was determined that I am a Cullen slut. Sad, but true. I love them all for different reasons. Like, Emmet--OMG, Emmet! Yes! I mean, he is the ultimate of all jocks! And we know how I love jocks! And then Jasper...so in tune to emotions--who wouldn't want that? I could go on and on...but won't.

Ok, the link...it is NOT dvd quality. Same exact version as you have, Liz. Bad picture, but good enough. The trailer is dvd quality, but not the actual movie. Anyone who needs it, I just grabbed it off limewire (the free version, Amy...sorry I never got to your PM). It took maybe 6 minutes to download it? Not long at all. And it is the full version. Considering it is still in theaters??? I'll take it.

I am half way through Eclipse and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it the best so far. It is ALL Cullens.

Ok, this is a weight loss thread, right?

So, I ran today. In an ice storm. The roads were really well sanded, so it was fine. There was just a lot of ice falling off of the branches and lines and I kept getting bonked on the head. Still, I did 4.7 miles and it felt great.

I have pics of the storm. I will get them up soon.

First, awesome that you are in for the Goofy. But no way I could run with a tiara on! I usually have to ditch my hat after a couple of miles.

Secondly, the collage is great...you hit all of the high points. And Liz and I just DIE over that scene where he puts his arm around her and walks into school...going to hell. OMG, favorite part of the movie, right there.
