Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad you stopped in Judi, been missing you!
DH and I did some quick shopping at CVS which is open today

and I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast......devoured

we are going to Grandma's for dinner at five
but we will arrive early so we can play some family board games together

I read all the Black Friday ads
and I have notes

I am looking forward to some delicious stuffing
and I hope there is plenty to bring home for tomorrow (it is yummy cold!)

Grandma is an excellent cook!
I like all the Thanksgiving food, (not wild about pickled beets) but everything else, yummo!

Gram usually tells me "you look tired"
and another of her favorite sayings is "are you mad?"


DD10 did hear her say she was chubby, but she knows Gram says silly things.
She told me later "I didn't like that Gram said that"

I was up and at 'em early, before five
but the deals were not to be had today

It was fun
but a bummer in that I didn't get the deals I wanted

I am consoling myself with peanut M&M's right now

DH has enlisted DS to clean the garage with him

I am staying away
should be napping since I was up so early!

It was in the fifties yesterday
and snowing this morning!

just a dusting
but cool for Black Friday shopping
Christmas music
crowds of folks
and a bit of snow

then I think a little 'ole nap is in store for moi

Got my gift cards for Splash Lagoon yesterday, PAD
and a special thanksgiving bonus
spend 50 get a free splash pass

so I split up my order to get two
now the kids can take friends

I hoped for a laptop at Walmart
but folks waited for 4HOURS in line for those
not me!

Mom, my Aunt, and I all went out at 4am this morning
I have never seen so many people in one place before...I thought I was going to die at Target
There weren't really any big ticket items we wanted so we were happy with what we got!

We got home at 10am and I went straight to bed....I just woke up!

I agree, but I went to two Targets and the Super Target was so much bussier than the other one.

Target was way better than Walmart this morning
Walmart was jampacked with people, you couldn't move
and some guy with a "chief" badge kept making people move out of the aisle
chief of what we werent really sure!

I got a few things at Walmart (the GPS system for my mom, good deal at 57 bucks), and track suits for DH, which I could have gotten anytime...

I was at Walmart, Target, Sears, Boscovs, Penneys, Dicks, Dunhams, KMart, Gamestop, Abercrombie, BonTon, Old Navy, 5Below and Panera Bread (for lunch) and home by noon

Now that is a shopping spree!
