Sarah, what a wonderful group of pictures, Sure made me Thank you.

Was40, very cute couple, hope they had a wonderful time last night.

DS and GF both said the dance was lame.

They came home early and watched a movie. Oh well!

Rain yesterday, rain today.

I thought chili sounded like a good thing. I started to brown the meat in the ceramic crock pot container on the stove, and when I walked away, didn't the pot crack, causing a grease fire and hysteria by DD10 who was making popcorn. I turned off the heat, not realizing it cracked, thinking it would go out....
then I realized grease kept feeding the flames so I got oven mitts to move the crock pot and when I lifted it , the whole bottom fell out.
Disaster.

I now have the cleanest stove in town.
And I need a new crock pot.


This is my first ever FIRE on the stove, with leaping flames.....
We are still going to have chili.....
with less meat!

I had to open all the windows and doors to let out the smoke,
when I covered the burning meat with foil, smoke ensued.


DH was not home at the time......
