What did you make for dinner, Sarah?

Holiday/fast started last night at 6 so we ate early at abuot 4:30. We had chicken soup with lots of noodles and veggies, chicken (DD had vegetarian pot pie), roasted cauliflower, cucumber salad, sweet potatoes and honey, orange scented quinoa.

The fast ended tonight at 7:30. Since we didn't eat for 25 hours straight, we usually eat very light-coffee, rolls, fruit.

I am so lucky the fire didn't go up the wall and catch my whole house aflame.
It was on the front burner, so fell onto the floor and stove.

It was scary, kimmy.
Tonight I was making cheesy beans and boiled it over in the microwave, mess number two.
Right after the cheese mess, DD10 dropped a glass which shattered into 5890372978943276892376834927639 pieces.

We are jinxed!

a couple of months ago my sister dropped a glass bowl that was hot, and it shattered and burned several holes on the floor.

It never morphed into a migraine, thank goodness
but I probably did serious kidney or liver damage with all the ibuprofin!

DD13 is making us crazy with all the homework
She has advanced everything, which is ridiculous.
Advanced basically means more work, in my opinion

her schedule scares me!

and while I am on a school kick

DD10's teacher has really annoyed me today

she said to the class

"I am sick of this b and d reversal! That is a preschool skill, if you can't tell the difference you have no business being in fifth grade!"

I am putting DH on the warpath, he is to CALL and speak directly to the teacher tomorrow, no email letter, but actual conversation of how unhappy we are with comments like this.

Who says stuff like that? Only the ignorant.
DD10 was in tears.
