Yes, a week-long trip, I will be back the 29th

I hope it’s a respite from the heat.

Today grandsons showed up at 7:30 to make blueberry pie with the blueberries they picked yesterday!! They did very well, including having to roll the dough since I can’t do that motion.

Then the whole family came over after lunch, it was gone in 15 minutes! The kids are willing to do it again on Saturday!

It should be about 90 here in omaha, high humidity. But I will be ok. That blueberry pie looks yummy.

DS7 and I both get to graduate to our next karate belts tomorrow. It’s been a long hard fight. His focus falters when he gets frustrated. He barely squeaked by today in testing. Poor kid had to get through it after a full day outside in the heat.

He’s been in it since he was 4. I just joined this year. So he’s in the advanced class while I’m in the beginner class. Like Kramer.

Great going!!
DD started when she was 3.
She then took a break at 12 to do school sports through college and then when she moved, she joined a new group which was a bit of a set back.
Took another break when she broke her wrist.
It has been fun watching her over all these years. Hope you enjoy it too.
We have done a lot of traveling with it

I’m going back to work today since being off since Thursday.
Katie was selected to be a part of our state’s AllStar team (these players are the best softball players in the state). The festivities were Friday and the games on Saturday. This was an awesome, once in a lifetime moment. Never, did I think she would be on that field when she started playing 11 years ago.

I’m only working Mon, Tues & Wed this week again due to Katie having a tournament starting Thursday. I don’t know what I’m going to do next summer when this is over (no college games during the summer) I definitely will enjoy my pool more

Our family is back in Houston. We have less than a week to go before out WDW trip over 4th of July. We plans to meet a Disboard friend for the first time in DVC Epcot lounge!
