I’m feeling blessed today - it’s my 50th birthday.
DH surprised me with a trip to WDW in November so I can be in my happy place when I’m 50 and WDW is 50 - I was so surprised!
Katie is so excited too - we haven’t been there since 2012.
It‘s going to be so fun being at WDW with an older/adult child - a totally different experience - I can hardly wait!

In 2019, my DS and DH surprised me with a 5-day trip to WDW and I got to experience Batuu and Galaxy's Edge before it was opened. We stayed at the Gran Destino, which had only opened 3 weeks prior. BEST birthday surprise I ever got! Slo, so happy for you!

I’m trying to wrap my mind around this new Disney Genie +. For the first time in years, I’ve been going to the theme parks board to try and get it all straight. I haven’t decided yet how I feel about this - I need to learn a little more. We may buy it for the MK and HS. I think if we arrive at Epcot when they open we can get to Soarin and Test Track early and not wait to excessively long. I’m gonna be watching the wait times like a hawk until we go to make a final decision.

I’m so glad that when we used to go every year, when my girls were little, it wasn’t this complicated.

We will not pay more for Genie +
Beside the daily charge, it is more for the headliner rides. Nope, not happening here.
When the family goes with us next year, they can decide if they want to pay.

Back to baking for the kids today. Just baking simple cupcakes and then next week they will decorate them for Halloween

I’m relaxing after DD23 was here with DGS7months. He’s really starting to get a cute little personality and he’s starting to crawl. He’s gonna be an early walker like his mom and aunty. I don’t get to see him very often, so when I do it’s wonderful.

This morning I am waiting for a dog walker for Gus. Until today DSis has been around to walk Gus, but this morning, she and Garry are heading for NYC to see the 9/11 museum.
I expect a call around 1 to go to get Tom.
