I'm thankful for...MICKEY!!! My Thanksgiving '08 TR!: TR Update, Last Day!

I am terrible about waiting for people at Disney World. I get so antsy!

That ADR scheme is a good one!

The only time it really bothers me is in the morning, when I'm ready to go and everyone else isn't.

And we're three people. It takes some time, you know? :rolleyes1

I made an appointment today to get my hair colored and cut tomorrow. I love new hair cuts and color.

I usually get fresh color before any big trip we take because I know there will be lots of pics. So tomorrow is the day.

I can't decide if I'm going to stick with my current color or do something different. I've been looking at hair pics all night!

Whatever I decide, you'll be seeing TONS of pics of it in just a few weeks!

Oh, how exciting! I'll be living vicariously through you, as I'm very boring and traditional with my hair. :thumbsup2

Hopefully, you can get your point over to your group without hurting feelings. Going separate ways will help all of you have a better time. It's a given with us that we will be doing some big meals together, some rides together, and some time to go out and do our own things - thrill rides, swimming, napping, shopping, picture-taking, etc.

Be sure and fill us in on the newest hair color and style, so that we'll know who we're looking for on that Saturday. I think Jill will have Mickey heads on the stroller, and you'll surely recognize Brooklynn's little blonde head, so you'll probably spy us before we see you. We need to figure out a spot to meet, too. I was thinking maybe over by the red phone booths, but I don't think there are benches there. The little out of the way street in UK that goes all the way around back that no on is ever in - I think there is a bench or two back there. We'll refine it when we get there. After one of us gets there and figures out the best sitting spot, we can call the other's cell.

I've been planning out when I'm going to get my highlights over the next 5 months so I can make sure I have mine done again before we go to Disney so I know what you mean  I actually just had mine done today which is all in the schedule. AHHH :scared1: to the bad dream!! That will NOT happen though so try not to even let it cross your mind. Can't wait to see hair pics :goodvibes

Let me first start by saying I love both of those bags. I would try the green one because like you said you can always change back. I would just hate for you to have a sore neck while at WDW!

Next don't stress about your family! Take a deep breath your going to Disney World! No worries allowed! You are getting so close...I'm so excited for you! :woohoo:

I always have horrific nightmares before going to Disney -- don't worry too much.

Can't wait to see what you decide on the hair color!

Isn't that crazy? Having so many bad dreams about such a fun thing! What the heck? :confused3

Can't wait to see the new hair pics!!popcorn::

The pics will have to wait...details coming up.

Yes! The mornings are the hardest times to wait for people. I always want to make rope drop!

I am always changing my hair. I like to take risks with it. This time, however....

I'm going to have to make it very clear the first day that there will be times that we split up and it's not because I don't love everyone! :rotfl:

I will definitely recognize your crew. I think it's a good idea to call each other when we get there. I'll PM my cell number!

I know...I have to block out the bad thoughts!

The hair pics are going to be a little delayed....

Let me first start by saying I love both of those bags. I would try the green one because like you said you can always change back. I would just hate for you to have a sore neck while at WDW!

Thanks! Yeah, i don't want to have a sore neck the whole time. The green bag is looking like the way to go!

You're right...It's Disney World. It's going to be great no matter what!

So I made a hair appointment at a local Tony and Guy Academy. Several people I know have gone there and their hair turned out great. In an effort to save some money, I decided to take risk and try it.

For 35 dollars for cut and color, I figured if it's really bad, it wouldn't be a big deal to go get it fixed. And if it's good, that's great!

WELL...I arrived at the salon/school yesterday and checked in. As I waited for my student stylist to come get me, I observed the goings-on. About 75% of the student stylists had blue or green or fire engine red or pink in at least part of their hair. Fortunately, my student stylist had pretty normal looking hair in a very cute style. So I sat down and had my consultation. Then, as she was applying the color to my hair, I learned that I was her FIRST LIVE CLIENT ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was her first day, first hour, first minute "on the floor". I had a mini internal panic attack and then sucked it up.

All in all, the cut and color took 2 hours and 20 minutes. I felt like I was there forever. The color is pretty good. It's a little more red than I would have liked, but I'm getting used to it. As for the cut, I am having a hard time getting used to it. Hence the lack of hair pictures. I need to figure out how to style it properly first!

It was funny because after my hair appointment, I met DH and some friends of ours for lunch. DH was the first one there and he told me my hair looked a little punk rock. I think it was the way the girl styled it. I took care of that as soon as I got home!

So I will post hair pics, but not until after I figure this cut out!

DH and I are cleaning out our garage today. We're packing, throwing away, and donating. Well, I had a bunch of toys that I don't use for my patients, so I took them to a consignment shop and I got 29 dollars to add to my Disney food fund!

I'm starting to figure out this new haircut. I still wish I had my old haircut back, but that's not gonna happen!

Here it is after dinner and drinks with friends tonight:

You can't really tell from this pic how red it is. In the sunlight, though, holy red!!!

Oh, now that you posted the bigger photo, I have to say...

I LOVE IT!

I think it looks great! :goodvibes

Your hair looks soooo good!! At least since you sat there for over 2 hrs it came out really good haha :thumbsup2
