I know this is stupid, but it just hit me. Today is DS's 6th birthday and its the first time I wont be with him at 8:41am, the time he was born. Do you think I could send him into school late today?

On the good side, this is the first year he will be in school on his birthday,so hes excited about that.

My kids both have summer birthdays. My DS, Craig, was on the Tower of Terror for the first time ever the moment he turned 13. He says it was the greatest thing of his life!

I hope you can still make your ds's day special. I'm sure they will make a big deal over him at school today.

My dd was born at 2:09 am. I usually sleep through her birth time. Luckily, so does she. We always have my ds's bday party at his birth time (12:12 pm-he was 6 yo this year also).
